Kristen Stewart Sexes Up Adventureland Red Carpet

kristen stewart

Kristen Stewart isn't particularly known for being a fashionista. In fact, she seems to be mostly a jeans, sneakers and t-shirt kind of a girl unless she's out hitting the red carpet for a movie promotion. So we have to give credit where credit is due -- K-Stew rocked it at the premiere of "Adventureland" last night.

Hilary Duff in Manolo shoe booties - I want that!

The always adorable Hilary Duff stepped out at a Manolo Blahnik event in what else, a pair of Manolo shoe booties! She accessorized her shoes with a feminine ruffled Chloe top and Herve Leger skirt. And in true Duff style, she used a belt chain and big, heavy chandelier earrings to toughen things up.

Doesn't she always have the best accessories too? Give us those earrings, then shoot us straight up to heaven because we'd be ready!

• Manolo Blahnik "Vella" shoes, Barneys, $755
• Chloe printed blouse, Net a Porter, $495
• Herve Leger high waisted pencil skirt, Intermix, $550

Rachel Weisz - From Red Carpet to Your Closet

Filed under: Clothing, Celebrities with Style, Red Carpet Trends, Get the Look

Not every Hollywood hottie is has the chutzpah to brave the bandage dress. It is quite unforgiving, to be sure. But, on the right woman, on the right occasion ... well, there's a reason this trend is so big right now, because it can look absolutely phenomenal.

Case in point -- Rachel Weisz at the premiere of The Brothers Bloom. Seriously, could she look any sexier? We don't know who she sold her soul to, or what unicorn's blood she had to drink in order to look this good, but we're next in line.

We're not going to lie -- we don't recommend this style of dress for everyone. However, with a few modifications, this overall look can work for women of any size and any age. Check out the gallery to learn how!

New York Fashion Week: Herve Leger swimwear

Herve Leger, cult maker of those impossible-to-walk-in bandage dresses, unveiled its Spring '09 collection at fashion week on Sunday.

Designed by Max Azria, who acquired the company in 1999, the collection was everything you might expect from a brand name that's synonymous with sex appeal.

This year, some of the standout pieces were the slashed-up swimsuits, in shades of rose, black and electric tangerine.

If these suits work the same wonders as Leger's minidresses, we expect sales to go swimmingly.

I want that! Rose pink Herve Leger

At a recent event Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere wore a pretty rose pink Herve Leger dress with gold Christian Loub's. Hayden knows that the key to a sophisticated style is to play it by the "less is more" rule which she does flawlessly here. We <3 this!

I want that! Herve Leger dress

We're about as sick of The Hills girls as you are. Well no wait, maybe we're just sick of Lauren Conrad and her little diva antics... like skipping out on a charity event that helped homeless animals because it was too "embarrassing." Tsk, tsk – just thought you should know that one didn't get by us animal hater!

Some of the less annoying personalities like Whitney Port and Audrina Partridge are still in our good graces. Here Audrina looks smokin' at the Maxim's Hot 100 Party in a bright yellow Herve Leger bandage dress. Good God those dresses make everyone look amazing! Every woman on the planet should probably own one.

Oh -- and thankful goodness she left crusty Justin Bobby at home. She looks must better without him.

The Kardashians give back

Filed under: Handbags, Accessories, Celebrities with Style

Most of us check out Forever 21's online store everyday in hope of finding a decent designer knock-off.

Others are fortunate enough to have the discretionary dollars to occasionally purchase a Marc by Marc top or pair of J Brand wide leg trousers on sale at Shopbop.

And then there is that select group of individuals who have so many luxury goods that they don't even have enough room in their 2,000 sq. feet closets to store them all in, so they give away a few of their luxe goodies to the less fortunate: Their equally fabulous, but poor friends.

Stylist poll: to fake your bangs or not?

Filed under: Hair Care, Polls and Quizzes

Today's Stylist poll is about fake bangs. Should you or shouldn't you, would you or wouldn't you?

We say, OMG yes!

Bangs can be the hardest hairstyle to pull off successfully, unless you're Heidi Klum, with an amazing face and 24/7 groomers to make sure they are exactly the right length at all times. Plus, growing them out takes forever.

But fake bangs take all of the maintenance, and commitment, out of the equation.

Prada, pictured here, went (as usual) for an ultra faux bang look. Fakies also turned up, just slightly more natural looking, at the Hervé Léger by Max Azria for Fall '08.

If those are too outré for you, there is always the standard sex kitten clip-on heavy bang, available across the internets for pocket change.

So, are you in or are you out? Go vote!
