Out with the old and in with the new. Wait...what? That doesn't make sense. Hilary Swank is actually older than Lindsay Lohan. But, fashion label Jill Stuart has decided to replace la Lohan with Ms. Hilary as the face of the brand.A source said, "Jill wanted to go for a celebrity to make her fashion line more high profile. But after everything Lindsay has been through over the last year, she doesn't feel it would be right for her to represent the line. She thinks Hilary Swank would be the ideal choice because she is that little bit older, and incredibly well respected in the acting industry."

Let's translate that -- Lindsay is washed up and after seeing her hoo-ha a million times nobody will take her seriously as a high fashion sell. Lindsay's popularity has been headed straight down the drain for the past year and Jill Stuart wants to get out while the gettin's good.Let's just hope that when they do shoot the ads they'll photoshop a little meat on Hilary's bones. Homegirl has been looking like she's in serious need of a hamburger or ten. Aside from that minor detail, I congratulate Jill on making a wise choice. Adios Lohan, aloha Swank!

Oscar Coverage: Battle of the one shouldered dress -- Katherine Heigl vs. Hilary Swank

Katherine Heigl and Hilary Swank both wore one shouldered gowns on the red carpet. And they weren't the only ones. Everyone showed up tonight in the asymmetrical silhouette! I was surprised we didn't see any guys wearing one shoulder tuxes.
Katherine gets a few bonus points since she went red and one shouldered. That's like killing two trendy birds with one stone since red was definitely the color of the night. It also helps that she was born for old school Hollywood glamor. Her short wavy hair and big earrings perfectly complete the look!
Hilary decided to do the one shoulder in black. Her gown was a bit more flowing and had more intricate details than Katherine's. She looks fab, but she also looks, how do I put this delicately, hungry.
I'm going with Katherine as the winner of the one shoulder face off. Mostly just because I can't focus on Hilary's dress long enough to decide if it's better or not. When I look at her all I can see are the bones popping out of her chest. Eat a sandwich, woman!

Yet another celebrity has been hired as "the face" of a fragrance. This time it's Hilary Swank, star of Boys Don't Cry and Million Dollar Baby, who is representing Guerlain's new perfume -- Insolence.I'm not really sure what kind of marketing Guerlain is trying to get across here. She doesn't have the most, well, feminine roles in her acting repetoire. Swank played the role of a boy in Boys Don't Cry, and a very sweaty boxer in Million Dollar Baby. Their approach? Have her dance naked in a commercial in support of the fragrance of course!
There are certainly many other celebs that are known for their feminity and you just know they would smell delightful. So what exactly does Insolence smell like?! I'm fairly positive that I don't want to know. The definition of "insolence"? An offensive disrespectful impudent act. Stay far, far away.
Note: If this fragrance does indeed smell just fine, then someone fire Guerlain's marketing team.
