When you think of high-profile brands that might use celebrities to pose with their products, you probably either think of fashion labels or huge multi-national conglomerates like Nike or Coca-Cola, which can afford to do whatever they want.
But the latest company to do a shoot with a sexy celeb is none other than Vaseline -- who've recently made Hilary Duff the face of their new ad campaign.
Explaining why she opted for a gig posing with petroleum jelly, the star told Just Jared: "Skin is a part of you, and you have to be proud of what you have. I feel comfortable in my own skin. Sometimes showing a little is fun. It makes me feel sexy and girly."
The next model I'd like to see make the leap to products from your medicine cabinet is Kate Moss. Especially in light of her nagging cocaine addiction, I think she'd be great in a campaign for Breathe Right Nasal Strips, or maybe Neti Pots.

I don't understand this Hilary Duff creature. I feel like she is a very confused "celebrity." I mean, she was great in Lizzie McGuire way back in the day -- but now it's like "Hilary who?" Is she is a singer? Judging by her latest performances I would say "heck no." Her lip synching skills are reminiscent of a Britney Spears (minus the kick butt Britney dance moves) Maybe she is an actress? Although I don't think Cheaper by the Dozen counts. Is she popular? Nah, not really. She is like a poor man's Lindsay Lohan. Young Hil' tried it all ... dated the older rock star boyfriend, she dabbled with the stick thin look, she even got a fancy new set of teeth ... but nothing stuck.Filed under: Hair Care, Celebrities with Style

For some reason, the idea that designers are creating lines for Barbie doesn't bother me as much as all the celebrities who think they have what it takes to design clothes. Maybe Justin Timberlake will do alright with his William Rast line. Maybe even Jaime Pressly. But David Hasselhoff? Oh yeah, I said "celebrities," so never mind.Filed under: Cosmetics, Fragrance, Celebrities with Style
Celebrities and their scents -- it's the new love and marriage, my friends. And following the footsteps of Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwyneth Paltrow is another celeb who has thrown her hat into the perfume ring. This time, it's Hilary Duff, and the scent is "With Love...Hilary Duff." The perfume is available at Sephora for $25-55, just in case you're wondering how much smelling like Hilary Duff would set you back. And while I'm not so sure about the smell, which is described as "mossy woods", I do like the bottle, and for me, that's most of the appeal of a perfume in the first place.Threesome or topless?
