Jennifer Lopez No Longer Selling Fashion Line in U.S.

Filed under: Style in the News

Jennifer Lopez generally stays one step ahead when it comes to business, so we think she's probably making a smart move by calling it quits with her last remaining U.S.-based apparel brand, Sweetface, according to WWD. The spring '09 collection is in stores now, but this marks the end of any Jennifer Lopez-branded apparel in the United States.

I want that! Jennifer Lopez in Dolce & Gabbana

We're convinced – Jennifer Lopez and Dolce & Gabbana are a match made in fashion heaven. Jennifer looks crazy hot after only recently giving birth to her twins, Max and Emme. She is always on the money when it comes to accentuating her hour glass figure and picking the exact right hair, makeup and accessories. It's as near perfect as putting together outfits gets and motherhood hasn't slowed her a bit!

And after all this time we still ask ourselves, is her ass really real?? That thing just makes you wanna put Sir Mix A lot on rotate.

• D & G dress, D & G, Sorry guys - as much as we want this one it was special made for Miss J to the Lo.

The Magic Belt: Bulges, Be Gone!

(Click the photo to see which celebs hide their bulge with the Invisibelt!)

Almost all celebs have a professional stylist--or two--who won't leave home without double stick tape to avoid nip slips. These pros know to dab white wine on still-wet merlot to prevent staining that perfect ensemble. And they always have convertible bras in their kits to banish visible straps on their famous clients.

And now the new Invisibelt (www.invisibelt.com) is becoming a must-have backstage at fashion shows and on the red carpet. Invented by former beauty editor and mom-of-one Kathy Kramer (who rocks a teensy waist and a juicy rear view), this adjustable clear belt (sizes 0-14; $19.99) is undetectable under fitted tops to give a super slim silhouette. "I invented the Invisibelt out of personal need. My pants were always a smidge too big in the waist and it wasn't practical to have every pair altered. Whenever I wore a belt the buckle created a bulky bulge under my top," she says. So celebs are just like us: We all want a whittled waist, not extra bulges! Off the record, Beyonce owns one. And as this picture says, that girl wears jeans like, well, a rock star.

Get the look: DVF - We died.

Filed under: Fashion Week, Get the Look

In true Diane von Fursteberg fashion, the show was a mix of everything a fashionable, jet set gal needs – flared denim, flirty dresses, floaty tunics, and sweet accessories. And of course, DVF's signature prints were present in all of the looks; this year taking on the forms of butterflies, stars, tribal and art deco. Though the designer says that the DVF girl is a "rock goddess" this year, Style.com might've said it better when they said she is a "breezy, flower child."

The mostly dress collection was completely phenomenal but the most notable feature on the runway was the models headpieces. Feathers, fringe, and beading adorned long loose hair while Twiggy-esque makeup added to the easy 60's feel of the collection.

To keep the looks modern, the Diane added in some trends du jour – plenty of sparkle, shimmer, transparency, and belts.

We're totally feeling everything about this collection and apparently so are celebs like Eva Longoria and Leighton Meester! The DVF show was one of the most star studded of the week.

Why have a red carpet? The country NEEDS it!

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Celebrities with Style

You're here at StyleDash, so I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you at least care about fashion. Well, it turns out you're a good person for caring. That's right. Not shallow, but good, and here's why:

The lack of red carpet events is hurting our economy.

Think about it -- Jennifer Lopez wears the infamous green Versace dress on the red carpet to the 2000 Grammys. Millions of people saw it when she wore it there, and millions more saw it after the fact. Prom dresses, wedding dresses, formalwear, and clubwear are all modeled after this design. Not only does Versace make a buck, but so does everyone else involved in all those other industries.

Clothes for JLo's twins

Filed under: Celebrities with Style, Kids and Babies

For J Lo's babies! For what seems like a thousand years, the Internets are all abuzz with news that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant (four months pregnant, in fact). While her publicists keep denying the obvious, the singer's mom apparently can't keep a secret -- at all -- recently telling gossip mags that her daughter is having twins. Hooray!

In celebration of J Lo's impending pair of offspring, here's some fun stuff from Be The Tees that she can use once the little ones arrive.

The I Love My Twin Brother or I Love My Twin Sister tops aren't exactly style-central, so I highly discourage any adults from wearing these. However, they'd be freakin' adorable on a pair of babies.

And, after she finally decides to validate the rumors, Jennifer can proudly declare to the world that "I'm Not Fat, I'm Pregnant!" with this amusing top, also from Be The Tee. Again, not the coolest-looking thing I've ever seen, but being pregnant (or a child) is a great excuse to make all sorts of unfortunate fashion choices you otherwise wouldn't be able to get away with.

J Lo's beauty secret: Crisco and Vaseline

Want to get a shiny greasy glow just like J Lo? Try J Lo's beauty cocktail ... 1 part Crisco and 2 parts Vaseline and you too can look like a oily monster.

Seriously, was it marriage that did this to you? Hey J Lo, remember when you were super hot? C'mon you remember everyone wanted your million dollar booty and everyone was singing "I'm just Jenny from the block." Those were the days huh?

Now you are old, washed up, and married to a man who looks like he could possibly be a zombie. Your fashion sense has gone to the dogs (the hoop earring is over, just let it go already) and your face -- well your face is something that almost indescribable. Oh the heck with it. Let's try to describe it.

There is a fine line between glowing and greasy, and you stepped way over it.It looks like Marc Anthony held you face down in a deep dish pizza. Not a good look. There is also something very strange happening with those eyes of yours. I applaud you for not over plucking but there is no need to rebel against eyebrow grooming all together. Your cheeks are have defied "rosy glow" and have danced into clown-like territory.

JLo, take a little advice from your dear friend Lauren and stop. Just stop. Stop making movies, stop going out in public, and stop wearing make-up because I think we all can agree your moment as a hottie is over.

Animal lover wants J'Lo dead

Someone is really unhappy that Jennifer Lopez is wearing fur. For months now, a crazed animal-rights extremist has been sending the star death threats -- specifically that she'll be killed in public, "just like the slaughtered animals whose fur she wears."

Understandably, her husband, Marc Anthony, is a little worried, and has hired some re-enforcements for J'Lo's security team.

While I think it's sad (and frightening) that some wacko is taking it so far, I also agree with PETA, who, in response to this news, said: "All violence is wrong. But J.Lo needs to stop the real violence she promotes and subsidizes rather than give herself extra protection she doesn't need."

Because seriously, what's the point of wearing fur anymore? Is it really worth it just to make a statement about how much money you have?
