Okay, so, the last few months we've been completely bombarded with Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson, thanks in large part to Kate's promiscuity and Anne's horrible ability to pick boyfriends their new movie Bride Wars. In the flick, the two are "besties" who let their dream weddings get in the way of their friendship. A wedding in the way of friendship?! No! But then again it is The Plaza. (Don't judge.)

Anyhoo, since the adorable twosome is pitted against each other in the film we decided to do the same in a real life scenario. A fashion scenario. Namely a "Who has the better style battle: Anne vs. Kate." Anddd go!

    Kate Hudson recently revealed that she loves posing for provocative photo shoots -- but the sultry starlet certainly isn't the only celeb who's willing to bare all a magazine cover.

Not that we're complaining -- we love celebrity nudity as much as the next person -- but what's with stars going naked on the covers of fashion magazines?

Kate Hudson is one of the most frequent skin flashing offenders, and according to The Sun, that's not going to stop any time soon. She loves doing it, and she plans more.

Not that she's an exhibitionist. No, when Kate bares all on the cover of InStyle, it's because of her love of the arts. Sure it is, Kate.

Golly, that reminds us of how Jennifer Aniston was on the cover of December's GQ wearing only a tie (which you can win, btw!), just because she's creative and free like that. Also, we hear she's deliriously happy and not desperate at all.

Oh -- their movies coming out at the same time as their magazine covers? Just delightful coincidences!

Summer folk: Celebs who thrive in the sun and surf

For some of us, summertime is a hot, sweaty nightmare of frizzy hair and shiny makeup collapsing like an ice cream cake in the sun. Between bug bites and sun burns our skin is a wreck, and we suffer from both the heat and the humidity. There is a whole post over on Stylelist about products that can help us survive the terrors of the season. And we need the help.

Meanwhile, there there are the charmed few, summer folk who thrive when the temperature climbs above 80 degrees. Just drop them at a pool, or anywhere there is sand, palm trees and surf. Their toes are always tan and bare, their hair tossled, and their faces sunkissed.

They look healthy, not hot. Casual, not sloppy. As if they just finished a particularly soothing yoga workout, and are about to sit on a warm, breezy deck watching the sun set, sipping something icy, tropical and fruity. The word around the blogosphere is that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson got secretly engaged this weekend. Although their press agents swear up and down that it's not true, Kate was spied wearing a ring and insiders are insisting that the engagement is on. As far as we're concerned, this could just as easily be a hoax as it could be a super-exclusive wedding. It wouldn't be the first time the paparazzi weren't invited.

After their breakup last summer, Owen's been going through some dark times and Kate's been helping him bounce back. Honestly, we thought Owen had his sights set on Woody Harrelson as a life partner. From the article:

"He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional."

The pendants are made of 18k yellow gold and encrusted with diamonds in a chosen initial. And, as cute as they are, there's a reason you see them on celebrities and not on the moms in playgroup -- they cost $1250 each.
