Filed under: Haute Home, Clothing, Jeans, Men, Celebrities with Style, Interviews

Sweatshirts by Five FourYou may recall us talking about Five Four and the sweet, sweet, sweetness that is their jacket collection. Yes, we are quite taken. The thing is, the jackets are just part of what Five Four has to offer. They make shirts, denim, sweatshirts (if you can call them that- they're way nice), shorts, and a backpack that is favored by one Megan Fox. They even have a women's line in the works and some cool home living items as well.

Why take our word for it. Here's what you need to know from Five Four's co-founder and designer Mr. Andres Izquieta:

Lindsay Lohan's legging line is not a huge failure after all

Apparently the fact that Lindsay Lohan's leggings from her own line are not only hideous but also hideously overpriced, doesn't matter -- they're flying off the shelves anyways.

Celebs dress to the nines for Stella McCartney party

Blood is the New Black: T-shirts

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Men

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

There will be blood, and possibly some sweat (not shop!) and tears. These t-shirts from Blood is the New Black are yet another example of wearable art where couture is the canvas. What's great about Blood is the New Black is how they give equal time to both the art and the artist, which we like.

This eyewear is money

Filed under: Accessories, Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

It's so money it doesn't even know it. Claw Money to be exact. Claw is the handle, so to speak, of an ex-graffiti artist named Claudia. She was the queen of NYC before moving to L.A. and going legit with a career in styling and costume design for music videos. Her clients included KORN, Brian McKnight, GNR and Ice Cube.

She returned to New York and did some television and print ad styling work for Nike, Guinness, and Footlocker, to name a few.

Now she writing books and designing all kinds of stuff, some of which we may show you in the future, but for now you'll have to be content with these sweet shades, the Nuggets ($300), Gazelles ($250), and Aviators ($230). Sweet shades, indeed . You know your future is so bright that you want to wear them.

Sarah Larson for Ashley Paige

Guess who that is. Yep, she's George Clooney's uber gorgeous girlfriend Sarah Larson. She was called upon to model. She walked the runway during L.A. Fashion Week for Ashley Paige in a few hot one piece bathing suits.

Dating George Clooney is obviously great for her career! But seeing as how Sarah has friends in high places, you'd think that the makeup artists for Ashley Paige would have been a little bit more careful. They made Sarah look like a man!

Compare her Oscar photos with these pictures on the runway. For the Oscar's she was fresh faced and lovely. On the runway her makeup was heavy and masculine. Was that really necessary? Did they have to cover up all her pretty features in 5 pounds of makeup!?!

I'm not sure if this was just a one time gig or if Sarah actually wants to pursue full time modeling. I know that models starting out don't have a lot of say in the way they look and are presented for a designer. But, if she's going to do this again, hopefully George can pull a few strings and get a no tranny makeup clause put in her contract.

Fashionistas come out to play for Erin Fetherston's Fairy Tale

Filed under: Style in the News

Erin Fetherston had Ellen von Unwerth direct a short video for her new collection. It features Zooey Deschanel wearing Erin's dresses and frolicking through the trees as a wood nymph.

The video was inspired by Romeo and Juliet but the premise is basic says Erin, "Zooey plays a tramp who eats a magic mushroom and finds herself with a group of fairies."

Zooey looked awesome as Dorothy in the Tin Man (a sci-fi adaption of the Wizard of Oz) so I bet playing a fairy chasing wood nymph wasn't a stretch for her. Fantasy is a good genre for Zooey!

Stars and fashionistas alike came out to show their support for Erin on the night before the start of L.A.'s Fashion Week. In the mix were Rachel Zoe, Rosario Dawson, Katherine Towne, Leelee Sobieski, and Angie Harmon, just to name a few. The only person missing -- Zooey herself.
