At my normal choice of restaurants, the farewell gift from the server is either a cheap breathmint or a fortune cookie (which I love, mind you).
But awhile back at the
Blue Pointe restaurant in Atlanta, I experienced something different -- either my server thought I had terribly chapped lips or he just thought he should give something back after such an expensive meal.
The restaurant gives every patron a 0.5 ounce tube of
Kiehl's Lip Balm #1, which, according to my server, is the new "cool" lip moisturizer.
The sample-size tube retails for $5.50 on
Kiehl's website. I'm not sure, but I think my lips looked
and felt just a little bit cooler using a lip balm from a trendy restaurant.
