Tip of the day: Got a question for a celebrity plastic surgeon?

Filed under: Style Tip of the Day

In about a week or so we will be speaking with Dr. Alan Bienstock, NYC plastic surgeon to the stars. However, we have decided to turn the questioning over to our readers.

Dr. Bienstock specializes in reconstructive surgery as well as plastic surgery. You know, the usuals – body lifts, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation/implements, face lift, etc. If you have a question that you would like Dr. Bienstock to answer, please feel free to comment to this post.

We'll gather the best questions and send them over to Dr. Bienstock next week. We look forward to your responses!

Oprah gets cast in a flattering light, literally

Over the years, there's no doubt that Oprah Winfrey's look has changed dramatically -- you can check her out right now at StyleList's Look of the Day. Her hair, her weight, her wardrobe -- they've all been switched up on a yearly basis. But, has she gone under the knife to make more drastic changes?

Sophie Dahl, where'd your nose go?

Filed under: Runway Trends, Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

There's a great line in the play Cyrano de Bergerac where our big-nosed hero, Cyrano, tells his friends that despite what others might say, he believes his famously large honker is actually the source of his strength and virility.

Apparently, the British model Sophie Dahl, granddaughter of writer Roald Dahl, needs to bone up on her 19th-century dramas because girlfriend has serious desecrated the nose her parents gave her (right photo from 2001). As you can see from the recent photo on the left, Sophie's nose is teetering perilously close to Michael Jackson status, which is really a shame because she has a truly interesting, beautiful face.

But you know what they say, "Once you go Jacko, you never go backo."

Of course, Sophie Dahl isn't the first woman out there to go overboard with rhinoplasty. I've collected some of my "favorite" celebrity nose jobs in a gallery for you to check out. If I left one out, leave a comment, and I'll add it to the collection.
