While it's no secret that a pretty good-sized chunk of Goodwill's revenue comes from well-to-do bargain hunter types, and not the low-income demographic that they initially set out to serve, are we OK with it when they start acknowledging that? Okay, so the Halloween mega-store, Ricky's NYC, isn't exactly saying that the costumes are based on these celebrities, but it doesn't take a scientist to figure it out. For example, with her stars and stripes bikini, rimless glasses, and brunette bun -- it's clear that the "Miss Alaska" costume is meant to be vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Ditto for the jet black beehive and ultra short dress of "Rehab Queen" costume, which is obviously singer, Amy Winehouse.
As you probably know, Lindsay Lohan isn't Sarah Palin's biggest fan. Recently she blogged about how Palin's "homophobe, save and convert the gays" point of view gives her feelings of "fear, anxiety, concern, disappointment and stress." She even went as far as quoting the great Pamela Anderson saying "she [Palin] can suck it." Harsh!.jpg)
