Tina Fey as Sarah Palin: Part Deux

Filed under: Style in the News

For the second time, Tina Fey headed back to her old home, Saturday Night Live, to reprise her now famous role as Sarah Palin doppelanger. On Saturday night, Tina and Amy Poehler reenacted the cringe-worthy interview that took place between Sarah and Katie Couric last week. Much like last time, the whole "making fun of the mouse-hunting governor who could potentially rule the free world" bit is as funny as ever.

But we ask, wasn't the actual interview between the real-life Sarah and real-life Katie funny enough where it didn't need to be satirized by professional comedians to get the humor in Sarah's bizarre and random answers? Nonetheless, this skit is hilarious. Happy Monday, guys.

Tina Fey morphes into Sarah Palin on SNL: "I can see Russie from my house."

Filed under: Style in the News

When people aren't talking about Sarah Palin's lack of knowledge on foreign policy issues, her attempt to ban certain books from the library, her seventeen-year-old daughter's pregnancy, her failed attempts to build the "bridge to nowhere", oh yeah, and something about pitbulls and lipstick, they like to lament on the fact that the Alaskan Governor looks like she could double as Tina Fey's Republican twin.

Well, last night Tina Fey returned to Saturday Night Live to play her doppelganger for the premiere episode of the show's new season. The sketch was hilarious, to say the least, and well worth the sleepy eyes we had to fight off to watch it in its entirety. In this clip, watch as Sarah, er, Tina and Amy Poehler who takes on the Hilary Clinton character open the show. Enjoy.

SNL Jeans: A video collection

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Jeans, Videos, Celebrities with Style

Urlesque just made our day. They took the time (and we're guessing they enjoyed it) to put together this collection of the "Top 5 SNL Skits About Jeans."

We couldn't help but noticing that all of the videos are fairly old. The Mom Jeans clip is already considered a classic at this point and everything else is from even older casts. Where's the love SNL? Aren't jeans still funny? Where's Andy Samberg's jean short about jean shorts? Laser Cats can't touch denim blue gold in a box!

At least we have these gems. SNL and Urlesque, we thank you from the bottom of our Bad Ideas.

The two we featured are our favorites, but they're all good. See them all at Urlesque!

Will Ferrell and American Apparel, in brief(s)

Filed under: Style in the News, Swimwear and Lingerie, Celebrities with Style

I may have loved Willl Ferrell on Saturday Night Live (especially as Alex Trebek). I may have liked Will Ferrell in Old School, Zoolander and even Austin Powers. But this may just be too much.

I have no idea why, but on the Megan Mullally Show this past Monday, Ferrell came out wearing only a pair of American Apparel Royal Blue briefs.

Does this mean that Will Ferrell also believes in American Apparel's provocative ads and anti-sweatshop ethos? Unclear.

What is clear, however, is that the man needs to do some crunches, stat! (A few less carbs also might help)
