Every closet needs a classic leather belt, that's for sure. And while a bright, funky, fun belt is a great addition to a lot of outfits, sometimes you need something in between boring and show-stopping. You need something that doesn't distract from your already fabulous outfit, but still shows off your rockin' personality.

That's why we have a bit of a belt crush on this Eugenia Kim Chain Link Belt, available for $187 at shopbop.com. Sure, it's a little pricey, but imagine how much use you'll get out of it. It's got enough interest to liven up a jeans and tee combo, but doesn't have so much going on that it can't be worn with a more vibrant outfit.

It's Friday night and you're looking for the perfect outfit. The only thing clean and unwrinkled is your trusty black dress, and you have some cute shoes, but it just seems a little boring -- you want to stand out. And, as we're sure you know, the easiest way to make that happen is by adding some fierce accessories.

We're all about a high, sexy heel, but truth be told, we're not all that likely to to wear a shoe like this out to run errands. Theoretically, it seems like a great idea, but doing a lot of purposeful walking in a stiletto doesn't really appeal. That being said, we don't want to give up the look of a heel and look like a schlub when we're out in public, right?

Bright patent clutches are a must this summer, but not everyone can afford the hefty price tag that comes along with some of the designer versions. Plus, when you're getting something in a fabulously bright color, it would be nice to have it in a variety of colors to work with lots of different outfits.

We love accessories that seem basic, but have a devilish twist to them. You know what we mean -- the necklace with the surprise detail at the clasp, the shoes with something a little offbeat on the sole -- you have to look a little more closely to pick up on exactly what's so interesting, but once you do, you have a new appreciation for the item.

This time of year, we like to have a beach bag ready to go at all times. We stock it with sunscreen, a towel, and magazines, and keep it near the door. You never know when someone will suggest a beach day, and when the call comes in, we want to be ready!

Who doesn't love pairing together the unexpected? There's a reason (other than alliteration) that leather and lace have been considered a sexy combo -- one is naughty and one is nice.

The same thing can be done with color -- something chunky and not terribly girly, when done in a feminine shade, takes on a whole new look.

We've touted our love of the light wrap before -- it's a stylish, elegant way to ward off the chill of a light evening breeze. Plus, it's a nice way to give yourself a little extra coverage when wearing a sleeveless top, should you feel the need.

A plain black or white wrap is a good, solid investment -- it'll go with a lot of clothes and always remain in style. However, if you want to be just a little trendier, why not opt for this yellow ombre cashmere-silk wrap, $85 at bluefly.com? It's classy but has just a little bit of a modern edge with the ombre design and the season's hottest color, yellow, and would look fabulous with a sweet little dress or a tank top and jeans.

Our perfectly sunkissed bronze skin (which totally came out of a bottle --shh! Don't tell anyone!) is so easy to accessorize. Whereas during the winter we have to be more careful about color so we don't look washed out, during the summer we are invincible. Bright, simple white makes us look like we're glowing. Corals just accentuate our golden goddess status. And blue and greens? They help our eyes to pop, plus they remind us of the ocean and beach, which is where we were (in our minds) when we developed our fabulous tan.

So you scored an invite to a swanky poolside bash this summer, or, maybe it's not so swanky, but you still have people there you want to seriously impress. No doubt you're going to sport some killer shoes, and you'll probably have a fabulous bathing suit and cover-up planned. To finish the look, though, don't forget your sunglasses!

We are all about the oversized clutch this summer. However, there are occasions when a large purse with no handles and no strap just isn't a very practical choice. Have you ever gone dancing with one in a place where you didn't want to set your purse down? We don't know about you, but we can't bust out our best moves on the dance floor with a handbag tucked under our arm.

Sometimes it's hard to find the right balance between an item that's really useful and an item that's flirty and feminine. You want to show off your personal style, but you also have needs -- and if your needs are anything like our needs, that means you need to carry a fair amount of stuff on a daily basis.

We think that this Ruffled Canvas Tote, just $19.50 as a part of the European Collection at Gap, is a fantastic solution. It's girly and sweet, but it's still going to get the job done -- just like you!

What's not to love about a bright pair of funky, beaded sandals? They can liven up a boring jeans and tee outfit, they'd be great with a sweet little sundress, and they're a fabulous choice to wear to the beach or pool!

We're kind of partial to these Amrita Singh Turquoise Sandals with Beads, $66 at Chickdowntown. Turquoise is a gorgeous color for summer, but we really like the colored beads -- they add a lot of interest and will only bring more attention to the gorgeous pedicure we're sure to have!

Jewelry doesn't have to be big, bold, or full of bling in order to make an impact. A delicate but unique design can be just as effective, and might look more proportional with certain outfits. A small pop of color paired with an unusual shape might be all you need.

We just finished watching the Gossip Girl season finale, and, as happens every Monday night, we decided we want to start wearing more fabulous hair accessories. Between Blair's headband at the wedding and her hat at the end, and Lily's flower in her hair, we are simply inspired.

And so, while we might normally overlook this Tasha Satin Rosette Head Wrap (available at Nordstrom for $68) as being a little "too much," we're really feeling it right now. Of course, this isn't a headband to be paired with undone hair -- this is something to be saved for occasions when you're really going for a look. Perhaps you could bust it out for a fabulous Upper East Side wedding this summer!
