Shirley MacLaine was a delight in the recent Wifetime movie about Coco Chanel. It was amazing how the character's accent transformed, over the course of her life, from Young French Femme to Tough Old Broad Who Isn't Taking $h-- From Anyone, with her ubiquitous Gauloises never smudging her perfect lipstick!

You know that tank top or tee that's in your closet -- the one that's a pretty color, but just kind of plain? You probably try to liven it up with necklaces or by layering it with other tops, and that's great. However, don't underestimate the power of a really pretty brooch.

On a tank, if the straps are the right width, you can scrunch up one side and close the brooch around it to give your neckline a bit of an asymmetrical feel. Or, if you have a V neck tee, place the brooch at the bottom of the V to add some punch.

Did Diablo Cody make leopard skin jump the shark?

We're right there with Kristen Seymour on loving a bit of leopard. And Diablo Cody is a full on inspiration to us lady writers -- you will find zero hating round these parts.

But...

Ever since the Diablo Cody awards ceremony (over) exposure tour, leopard skin, either as an outfit theme or accent, seems a bit...tired.
