The nice folks at Stila sent us some samples so we could try their products first hand. We spread the bounty across two bloggers, Kristen Seymour and Cat Lincoln, who will share their reactions with you this week.

Stila's Perfecting Concealer is a semi-matte concealer designed to hide "under eye circles, scars, redness, and other imperfections."

We were really excited to try this out because, even after getting a full night's sleep, we tend to have under eye circles, but now that we're no longer 18, some concealers and foundations end up making our smile lines (because we do not have wrinkles -- our face is simply used to smiling and being happy) more obvious.

If time has proven anything it is that Ponce de León was way off mark. Aside from the bikinis washed upon the shoreline of Miami the closest thing to a Fountain of Youth in Florida has big mouse ears on it. Those cars with the New York plates? Those people aren't young, Ponce.

No, the Fountain of Youth can be found on me -- on my face to be exact. You see, I'm closer to 40 30 than I have any right being, and yet I have enough blemishes and pimples to be invited to prom or tested for steroids. Sure, it's kind of fun being the guy that can buy beer at the dance, but testifying before Congress? That's lame.

That's why I tried Advantage Acne Spot Treatment by Clean & Clear. It is a salicylic acid acne medication. Yeah, that doesn't mean anything to me either. However, it also claims, right on the tube, that it "won't overdry skin," which is good. The only thing worse than having a big pimple on your face is having a big pimple on your lizard face. That's awkward.

All I know is that it works. Fast. I've got a tux to rent and a corsage to buy. I can't afford to worry about my complexion.

It doesn't matter how old or young you are, no one likes to get blemishes. Recently blemishes were practically attacking my skin and I had been actively seeking a skincare solution. For the past few months, my skin has been going absolutely berserk. I noticed that my normally clear skin was breaking out a lot more than usual, but I couldn't pin-point the reason. Usually, the only reason why I use foundation is because my skin tone is slightly uneven, but after the break-outs, I would wear more in a desperate attempt to cover up. MAC's Studio Fix generally did the trick. Unfortunately, my skin kept going insane and I kept putting on the Studio Fix. Now, I believe that the foundation was what caused me to break out in the first place, which is actually kind of funny to think about now that I'm not freaking out about it.
