Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

Chances are you've seen an Ames Bros. product and didn't even realize it. Whether you're a fan of Pearl Jam or Leonardo DiCaprio, or possibly both, then you have seen the artwork of the brothers Ames. Actually, you've seen the creative work of Barry Ament and Coby Schultz. No relation.

Well, now everyone has them, and it's time for new, cool trendy earphones. For a while we thought it would be Bose, of the exquisite sound and $300 price tag. But those mothers are huge! They make us feel like we're wearing a bad DJ costume on the bus and at the gym.

If ever you shop at Amazon.com (who doesn't shop at the online mega-store?!?!), you know that they have lots of decent deals and sales, but they're difficult to find. You basically have to browse the department in which you are interested, then hope that whatever catches your eye will be on sale. It's a little bit unnatural to the way we shop in real-life -- we head straight for the sale section and then look for something we might want.

Amazon's new store has doors!

After growing from a small online book seller to one of the web's most successful retail destinations, Amazon.com is branching out yet again, this time with two new online retail stores. Dubbed Endless.com, the new retailer sells over 250 brands of shoes, accessories and handbags including lines like Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole and Birkenstock.

But the big draw of Endless.com isn't the label names -- it's the promise of free overnight shipping! So if you are going out tomorrow night and you really need a pair of Oscar de la Renta open-toed pumps, you won't have to pay an arm and a leg to get them delivered to your door by tomorrow afternoon. (Of course, if you are paying $260 for a pair of shoes, can you really complain about the cost of shipping?)
