Tip of the day: Jennifer Hudson is too matchy-matchy

We love Jennifer Hudson. She's a fierce lady with booty for days. Her voice is fantastic as are her acting skillz and she's besties with Andre Leon Talley of Vogue fame (heart!). However, this Peter Soronen dress had us scratching our heads. Puzzled some might say. Bewildered for others. It's almost as bad as the caped crusader fiasco at last year's Oscars. Her posture isn't as confident as usual, the bronze hue (which is tough to pull off as is) overwhelms her lovely skin tone, and the hair is too severe paired with such a strong dress. To top it all off with the bronze shoe is just too much. Maybe with some softer boob length waves and a strappy shoe in another color this might've worked but definitely don't try this look at home.
Andre, leave Michelle Obama alone!

First, we absolutely adore Vogue's prolific editor-at-large, Andre Leon Talley.If we ever got the chance to meet him in person, we imagine it would involve us losing all of our senses and embarrassing ourselves so much so that the people standing around watching us stumble over our words would begin to feel awkward for us.

Andre and Anna, PETA bait yet again

Some people bring their animals to Fashion Week, Andre Leon Talley and Anna Wintour from Vogue prefer to wear theirs. The photo here shows the pair at the Calvin Klein show keeping the cold of New York Fasion Week at bay with fur scarfs. You have to hand it Andre and Anna for courage they are both unashamed fur wearers, undeterred by past PETA attacks and protests. I imagine it only takes an animal or two to cover Anna's scrawny neck but my goodness how many animals (skunks maybe?) gave their lives for the fabulousness of Andre Leon Talley. I'm a big fan of ALT but I wish he'd stick to those sweepingly elegant coats of his and skip the fur.
