In order to find out more about just what makes all of these creative types tick, we present to you an ongoing segment called Indie Designer Interviews.Today's interview is with artist Lauren Gehr of Spinach N Peace. Lauren designs beautiful journals to inspire the written word in addition to her other artistic endeavors of painting, photography and mixed media artwork.

Many of us want to become more cultured but we are clueless how to start. How about with art? After taking a handful of art history classes and reading "Art for Dummies," we've realized that, though we are far from being experts, we have enough know how to help you get your critique on without, what do they call that thing again? Oh right, a doctorate.
Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.
