I'd never want to diss on any collection because most certainly, there is someone out there who absolutely loved it, but I just can't be all that lovey-gushy about Kimora Lee Simmons' Baby Phat Spring 2007 Collection. Not only did it look suspiciously like a short sleeved, cropped version of Fall, but the gals looked like the sibling result of an urban orgy involving Carmen Miranda (jungle leaves), Nelly (grillz), and Mr. T (mohawks). No offense to Mr. T, of course.

However, in the spirit of Picking one from the Show, I will have to go with the fairly conservative-for-KLS look on the right, pairing a silvery grey top and dark cropped pants covered with flap-pockets. It's a little bit un-exciting for Spring, but at least you know you could wear it and not get kicked off the sidewalk for exposure, over, indecent, or otherwise.

Then again, I might just be drawn to the handbag.

It's the height of summer, which means you're probably wearing flip flops (I just can't get myself to say "thongs" unless I'm talking about underwear) every day. But honey, those black and blue Reefs from your trip to Baja three summers ago aren't going to cut it. Here are seven Styledash picks for flip-flops through the week:

Sunday - It's a backyard BBQ with 50 of your closest friends, and you've got on daisy dukes, a halter top, and barely-retro wooden heeled thongs

Monday - Off to work at your California casual office that's clean under your slacks, and still has a not-so-flipfloppy feel with a strap around the heel.

Tuesday - Play hooky and go to the beach in flat, simple straw flipflops you can throw in a matching straw beach tote, and won't feel bad about throwing away at the end of the summer when they're all torn up (2 for $12!)

Wednesday - Big meeting with the big boss means a linen pantsuit and a simple, sophisticated sandal that's still comfortable so you're not wincing up there during the presentation.

Thursday - After the gym, rubber soled flip flops that are pretty enough to throw on and run over to Pinkberry for some from frozen yogurt

Friday - Gotta look like a sex kitten for a hot date with that MySpace guy. Lace up around ankles says "hot."

Saturday - Girls' night out on the town? That's phat and phlirty, baby.

For a long time, we accessorized our cell phones with sparkly logo charms, Swarovski crystal face plates, and designer carrying cases from the likes of Kate Spade, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. Well, designers are taking it one step up for us by designing the cell phones themselves. Now the cell phone doesn't have dangling accesories; with a designer logo, it is an accessory.
