You now have a good excuse to think about Brad Pitt while you're in the shower -- the ecologically-minded A-lister is teaming up with Kiehl's Since 1851 to raise money for the JPF Eco System, a part of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

All the net profits from sales of Kiehl's Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser will go to JPF Eco System. The cleanser, which will run $16.50 for a 6.8 ounce bottle, will be a permanent addition to the Kiehl's lineup and should bring in $1 million or more for the charity.

We hate the bother of applying moisturizer after the shower. It's messy, cold, and time consuming, the three horsemen of "Next time."

Our skin is saved by the one million moisturizing body washes with magic ingredients ranging from shea butter to glitter oil. They'll never take the place of real moisturizers, but sure do buy some time before your elbows get red and cracked.

Neutrogena Comforting Butter Body Wash is our current favorite, although for non-moisturizer related reasons. Oh, it's got shea butter, and mango and cocoa butter, so it makes you plenty soft. But we'd use it if it gave us green scales just to get a whiff of the addictive, faintly tropical, vanilla scent.

Seriously, go down to the drugstore and smell it. You will be powerless to resist the comfort of this body wash!

I've been noticing for the past couple years that "for men" lines have been popping up everywhere. Where there was once only one type of face wash or one type of lotion, there now exists many different variations of essentially the same product.
At first glance, it seems that most of these products are simply a marketing ploy, used as a way to encourage more purchases, even if it is for the same soaps & salves. If it says "for men," we're more likely to buy it; you know how we can fall for advertising.

But I have to say, it's a pretty smart technique. Companies like Nivea, Clearasil, Dial and even Avon have gotten in on the "for men" phenomenon. By providing us guys with our own manly fragrances, manly packaging (see Dial's body wash that looks like an oil container), and marketing campaigns just for us, it lets us know that having good hygiene is A-okay.

And here's a few of my favorite products from various "for men" lines: energizing acne scrub from Clearasil; protective lotion from Nivea; and this hair and body wash from Avon.
