Boobs - When Bigger Isn't Better

Filed under: Cosmetics, Celebrities with Style, Beauty Tips

Like cookies n' cream or peanut butter and jelly, showbiz and big boobs just go together.

I'm not saying it's right, I'm just stating the facts. They don't film Dr. 90210 there just for fun, y'know. But as of late, there's been a small uprising among the big-busted.

Take Cheryl Cole. The UK pop star has a figure to die for -- so much that Lily Allen even wrote a song about her body envy for her -- but lately, Cole's been blabbing about what a burden her not-really-that-big boobs are.

"I'm a 32D, which is ridiculous for my size," she says. "I hate looking booby. You can look really cheap very quickly."

Drew Barrymore has also been vocal about the perils of being busty, and Jenna Jameson has been all over the web, flashing pictures of her ridiculously svelte post-baby body. (Something tells me the thrill of getting those gigundo implants taken out has something to do with it.)

Actresses Confused - Thought They Were Getting Married Again

Filed under: Events: On the Scene, Celebrities with Style, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes, Red Carpet Trends

Sarah Jessica Parker in Christian Dior
The Oscars was full, full of white dresses this year. Perhaps this is due to the recession; thrifty celebrity fashionistas hope to reuse their Oscar gowns as their next wedding dresses. We took a look at the dresses and marital statuses of several gorgeous offenders.

Jane Krakowski - No Sagging at SAG Awards

Revealing on the Red Carpet

This ladies and gentlemen, is what a superstar looks like: Beyonce wearing the heck out of a deceptively simple looking black turtleneck dress at the Gotham Magazine gala. She's gorgeous!

This is what people are talking about when they praise Beyonce's curves. She looks like a fantasy creation, and even though she is as covered up as possible -- what kind of shoes is she even wearing? No one knows! -- nothing is left to the imagination.

And this is how you put together an outfit for an event. Her hair: striking -- pulled back, out of the way, not fighting with the dress. The only jewelry: bold but simple earrings. She's not even wearing her 18 carat engagement ring, just some shiny red nail polish.

She is, however, wearing 10 pounds of "You're damn right I'm fabulous" attitude, which is what really puts this in the StyleFab history books for us. Sasha Fierce rulz!

Of course, Beyonce isn't the only celeb who goes revealing on the red carpet. The question is: Who pulls it off, and who's revealing too much?

Rose McGowan's barely-there "dress" is a little (OK a lot) too much.

    Getty Images

Keira Knightley's tattered rags look like a stiff breeze could make the actress considerably less decent.

    Getty Images

Someone should've told Gwyneth Paltrow that you can see right through that dress -- and we'd prefer not to.

    Getty Images

That's an interesting place for see-through fabric -- fortunately Teri Hatcher can make anything look amazing.

    Getty Images

Backs are sexy, butt cracks are not -- even when it's Heidi Klum's.

    Getty Images

Tess Smith leaves very little to the imagination with this super-skimpy wrap-dress-thing.

    Getty Images

Anne Hathaway appears to have forgotten something -- it's called a bra.

    Getty Images

Kate Bosworth uses some strategically-placed stripes to conceal her private parts.

    Getty Images

Uma Thurman also seems to have forgotten her undergarments.

Jane Krakowski hit the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet last night, looking gorgeous in a red dress with a deep, deep neckline. And from the front, it was daring, but sexy and fun. From the side, it simply looked like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. All we can say is that we're pretty sure she wasn't stingy with the tape.

Is this a 30 Rock trend? Tina Fey showed off her cleavage at the Golden Globes, and now Jane showed how perky she can really be at the SAG Awards. Who's next? Seriously, if Alec Baldwin shows up at the Oscars with his shirt unbuttoned past his sternum, we're going to have a problem.

Coffee Makes Your Boobs Smaller

Filed under: Style in the News

Coffee -- Harmful or Helpful?

Ladies, we know you're aware of your breasts. Even if you're not at all vain, you watch them inflate and deflate monthly, when your weight fluctuates, or sometimes for seemingly no reason at all. Well, according to The Daily Mail, surprise breast shrinkage may be caused by excess coffee.

    From the article:
"[Scienists] said there was a clear link between drinking coffee and smaller breasts as around half of all women possess a gene that has been shown to link breast size to coffee intake."

Or maybe it's just that women who drink lots of coffee run around like crazy, so they weigh less, so their boobs shrink? All we know is that we really don't want this to be true.

But fortunately it's not all bad. While your morning pick-me-up may be shrinking your boobs, scientists have also discovered a number of potential health benefits to drinking coffee. Studies have shown that it could reduce your risk of diabetes, colon cancer, Parkinson's disease -- even cavities!

The key to many of coffee's potential health benefits are antioxidants, which protect against toxic free radicals, and in turn help prevent chronic disease.

And there's more! In addition to protecting your body from potential long-term illness, coffee reportedly offers all kinds of everyday benefits -- from relieving headaches and managing asthma, to improving your mental performance.

Lisa Rinna admits she used too much Juvederm

Even though we totally fell in love with Lisa Rinna when she was on Dancing With The Stars, we've always categorized her in the same "Muppet Features School of Plastic Surgery" as Donatella Versace and Jessica Simpson.

Sarah Burge - Barbiehood is Mine!

Filed under: Style in the News

(Does she live up to the real thing? Click the image to see more photos, and other real life Barbies)

Lots of little girls love Barbie, and wish they could grow up to be like her. But hardly any of them take it to the lengths of Englishwoman Sarah Burge. Of course, most little girls don't have £540,000 to spend on plastic surgery, either.

Is Lizzy Caplan the next Angelina Jolie?

Used to be a bad accent, cheap wig and quick pair of fangs made for a hit movie about vampires. But the gay-old-days of Anne Rice, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt are over, thanks to HBO, Charlaine Harris and a little help from the surprisingly hot Lizzy Caplan. And her boobs.

Coco's crazy cleavage - StyleFoul!

Click the picture for more cleavage-tastic Coco pics!

Coco, the wife of rapper and actor Ice-T, is known for one thing two things -- her cartoonishly large bosoms. Don't get us wrong -- we have no problem with big boobs. However, this outfit (and we use the term loosely) from the New York Righteous Kill premiere actually hurts our eyes.

They don't even look like breasts anymore -- it actually looks like she found someone with a large (but surprisingly smooth) ass, bent them over, and shoved them down the front of her dress. Seriously.

Jodie Marsh at the Daylight Robbery Premiere - StyleFoul!

(Click the photo to see more Celebs Who Bare All on the Red Carpet)

In deciding to don this fine bit of fabric for a red carpet event, we imagine Jodie Marsh thinking the following:

"Okay, so if it covers nipples, it's considered a 'shirt', right? I mean, sure, this won't push my knockers up to my chin, but WOW! Just LOOK at how much of my front I can legally show! Man, is Jordan going to be jealous!"

We're also quite certain that she practiced posing to ensure her breast best look (although, does anyone else think this is not only hideous but wildly unflattering?), because, when she moved out from the perfect pose, this is what happened:

Go topless - it's your right!

Filed under: Style for a Cause

If, ahem, plus sized men can show their assets on the beach, then women should be able to do the same. GoTopless.org is "a US organization, claiming that women have the same constitutional right to be bare chested in public places as men."

Tiddy Bear: An amazing invention for people with breasts

Filed under: Accessories, Style in the News

While the Tiddy Bear isn't the most fashionable auto accessory around, we could see it catching on in a fugly fabulous kind of way. If Crocs can sweep the nation, we sure hope that something that's actually useful -- not to mention cleverly named -- like the Tiddy Bear could catch on.

Sometimes seat belts can be really annoying -- and not just for people with boobs. That's why we think this swiveling, bear-shaped cushion is a thoughtful, if not kinda creepy idea (especially when it hugs those kids).

Even if the Tiddy Bear doesn't sell very well -- at least they succeeded in making a hilarious infomercial. That's something to be proud of. One thing we didn't like: this commercial didn't address the phenomenon of man boobs.

Kendra Wilkinson ain't classy enough for the Olive Garden

Playboy hottie and lady friend to Hugh Hefner, Kendra Wilkinson has plenty of admirers. With her So-Cal looks and willingness to express herself toplessly, she is a truly American brand.

You could say that Olive Garden, another "only in America" classic, is a natural match for Kendra, both of them pre-fab, bland and over-processed. In other words, easy to like and available in every mall in America.

But this is a story of unrequited love.

Andrea Savage gives guys a clue

Filed under: Men, Celebrities with Style, Style Tip of the Day

(Click the photo for Andrea's 10 tips on having sex with women)

If you read Esquire, and you really should, then you are familiar with the monthly feature "Ten Things You Don't Know About Women" in which a very attractive female celebrity throws out 10 chunks of insightful knowledge. In theory these nuggets of wisdom, if heeded, should have such positive results as better dates or a stronger marriage- if nothing else they should help a guy get lucky.

This month it was Andrea Savage of Step Brothers that offered up the 411 on the fairer, less hairy and better smelling sex.

Here are a few of her suggestions:

  • Wedding rings need to be sparkly to remind us not to have sex with other people.
  • If teenage boys knew that no matter what they look like, knowing how to dance will get them laid at every wedding they attend in their twenties, cotillions would be wait-list only.
  • We don't understand your fascination with boobs, but we're happy you have it.

See, that's the kind of stuff your buddies could never tell you, no matter how many beers you have. That's wisdom, Holmes.

Here's the whole enchilada:

Secret Obsession: The banned Eva Mendes ad (NSFWish)

The following commercial was banned from television and may not be suitable for work:

Eva Mendes seems to be everywhere lately, and almost always naked. We aren't complaining.

The above video (assuming that YouTube hasn't pulled it for boob-related reasons) is an ad for Calvin Klein's latest fragrance for women, Secret Obsession. It was banned from television due to some finding it a bit steamy- and nipply.
