We first saw these booties on Jessica from What I Wore, and she has shown that they look absolutely terrific with tights and bring just about any outfit to a new level. Just peek at her blog and be amazed at how versatile these shoes really are.

Must-have shoes - Singerson Morrison for Target Fierce patent booties

Filed under: Accessories, Shoes, Must Haves

The bootie is the "it" shoe for the season - and we have to admit that while we're not 100% sold on the look, we have seen a few ladies pulling it off very well. We think it may be time to experiment, and these booties by Singerson Morrison for Target are just the shoes we've been looking for.

Flatter Your Figure - What about shoes?

Filed under: Shoes, Flatter Your Figure

You can wear the most gorgeous dress, or put together the most flattering jeans and top, but so many people make a mistake when it comes to the last accessory they put on -- their shoes. You might not realize it, but the wrong shoes can take you from looking long and lean to appearing short and stumpy.

Of course, if you start off with the right pants, that's a great start, as is wearing the right style for your shape. And once you've done that, we've got the right shoes for you! Check out the gallery to see how you can look stylishly slim while still (hopefully) being able to walk.

Fringe for Fall

Fringe -- designers love it and so do we. This Fall the runways in Milan were filled with fringed accessories and clothes. We were crazy about it all!

Shoes of the day - Belle by Singerson Morrison 5631

Filed under: Accessories, Shoes, Must Haves

We must admit that we haven't been completely sold on the ankle boot trend until now, but these babies may have us jumping on the bandwagon. Most of the booties out there look like they started life as full-sized boots but had an unfortunate encounter with a pair of scissors. It just doesn't look right. However, this pair by Singerson Morrison cleverly show off the fact that they're ankle boots and the rolled edges remind us of our favorite shirt. They're fun and fresh - just the thing our feet need this fall

Wouldn't these booties look amazing with a pair of colored tights?

Crazy craving: Victorian lace up boots

Filed under: Accessories, Shoes, Vintage and Retro

Every few years lace up ankle booties come back into style. These vintage lace up boots could very well be the original pair that all of those boots are based on.

Even thought they are from the 19th century -- that's 18-something! -- and over a hundred years old, possibly two, they are still totally in style. In fact, they look like a Gothic Lolita version of these white Chanel boots with the black cap toe.

Louby goes bootie for fall

It absolutely mystifies me that booties are all the rage for fall (the follow-up to the entirely ridiculous open-toed bootie). It does seem like one of fashion's inside jokes but here they are as awkward looking as ever making the long and graceful line of the foot look short and stubby. Case in point this Louboutin Lapono bootie. The shoe is done up in metallic bronze leather with a strange little zip up vamp. It seems an odd design and this is one case where the signature Louboutin red heel doesn't really work with the color of the shoe. The shoe sells for the astronomical price of $1,100.
