Fashion is always about the transition into something else, something new. So in the spirit of evolution, we hereby announce that the day of the statement necklace is dead. Today, it's all about the statement-making, shoulder-dusting, gemstone-filled earring ala Reese Witherspoon in November's Vogue. We haven't seen earrings this big since Beyonce made them a staple in the early 2000's and we are loving every minute of pulling ours out of the back bin.

A chandelier that's airy, stylish...acrylic?

I've always been a sucker for innovative or unique home decor. There's just something about finding curtains in a really mod fabric or an ottoman that doubles as a bookshelf that thrills me to my shopaholic core. It makes sense, then, that when I discovered this chandelier on Pepper-mint.com, I would immediately start picturing the fixture in various rooms of my house.

The neatest thing about the chandelier, however, is that instead of being constructed with thousands of delicate and breakable pieces of crystal, wire, and glass, the entire fixture is made of ten pieces of lightweight and durable acrylic. Meaning, I could (if I was feeling very generous) have the whole thing boxed up and shipped anywhere in the world, with virtually no fear of breakage or difficult assembly. I can think of more than a couple of people who would find the Palazzo T4 a lovely Christmas gift indeed.
