We like when Chloe Sevigny brings it down a notch. Her outfit appears simple at first but it's all in the details (see her sandals, choker and bag, all Balenciaga too). The pop of pastel is unexpected, especially for fall but worked nonetheless. We also really loved the closeup shots where you can see her nearly naked skin and spidery, Twiggy-esque lashes.

We have noted a mini trend of sorts on fashionable ladies like Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway, and Chloe Sevigny – the square shouldered dress.

Cartier held their third annual Loveday Celebration at a private residence in L.A. yesterday. The event also celebrated the launch of the Cartier Love Charity Bracelet. As with all celebrity events, here at Styledash we feel it's our duty to analyze what went down on the red carpet.

Look. We really like Chloe Sevigny. We've seen practically every film that she has ever made (we even soldiered through The Brown Bunny) and we have the first season of Big Love on DVD.

Last month, Nylon magazine placed Chloé's perfume girls -- Clemence Posey, Anja Rubik, and Chloë Sevigny -- on its April beauty issue.

To celebrate all of the Chloe synergy (cover and person), the fashion magazine tapped Sevigny to host its ninth anniversary party a couple of weeks ago.

Well to everybody's surprise (the guests, the editors... the people who put her on the cover), the Big Love actress didn't show up. At all.

Chloë Sevigny is a very busy woman these days.

Not only does she play the shopaholic daughter of a polygamist cult leader on the HBO hit Big Love, but she has also launched a clothing line with New York City boutique Opening Ceremony, fronts the fragrance campaign of French fashion house Chloe, and is the new "style adviser" at Elle UK.

Well, now she can add Uniqlo model to her rather long fashion resume.

Uniqlo's UT Project -- which stands for Uniqlo T-shirt -- features designs created by artists, designers, musicians and photographers. To date, there are over 1000 different designs that exist and new ones are added each season. For the next installment, that will hit stores in April, Uniqlo is resurrecting the art of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. The brand is reproducing their art under a licensing agreement with the artists' estates.

There will be about a dozen different designs from each artist, with prices starting at a reasonable $15.50.

According to WWD, Uniqlo chose Chloë Sevigny to appear in the women's ad campaign for UT Project, and Tadanobu Asano, a young Japanese film star, for the men's.

With that, I can't help but remember a quote Chloe once gave about her current status as a fashion icon: "For some reason the public has embraced me as a fashion icon, and I feel like it has diminished me as an actress, or I don't get as much recognition as an actress, and that upsets me"
