One of our biggest frustrations is looking at our closet, which is packed with clothes, and having nothing to wear. Without doubt, we could walk into a friend's closet and find several great outfits, and probably, a friend could do the same in ours. So, why not have a swapping party and let everyone end up with a new outfit?

Lauren Conrad showed at L.A. Fashion Week yesterday and we must say that the collection was a profound improvement on anything she's sent down the runway in the past.

Once hair and makeup was finished, I just had to get dressed ... which wasn't as simple as I expected. The outfits were selected for us, so it's not like I had to choose anything, but I had figured that they would have all of the items in a few different sizes. That was not exactly the case.

We are of an age where our friends seem to be into having babies. Lots of them. Well, not that our friends are pulling an Angelina Jolie or anything, but still, there seem to be a lot of babies coming into the picture.

And, being the fashionable auntie-types we are, we are not content to simply buy the Winnie the Pooh onesies we see at our local Target. They're cute, sure, but if we're going to dress a baby, we're going to put them in something with a little pizazz. And Angelic Genius has pizazz in spades.

We are loving the trends for fall 2008. They completely juxtapose everything we previously knew about fall and winter clothing. We're looking forward to a vibrant season come October.

As many of you may already know, Hayden Panettiere has a website called Panettiere's Closet, that auctions off items from the actress/singer's wardrobe to raise money for charity. But, don't expect any scandalous finds on the site anytime soon. Hayden has put her momager on an underwear ban.

We love it when life imitates art. Just like her wildly popular Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker has a serious thing for shoes.

The Children's Place is a one stop destination for the shopping parent of school-aged children. Hence the name.

They carry everything from shoes to underwear and everything in-between. Their clothing is cute and classic, sticking to seasonal influences more than those of pop culture. The result is a timeless quality that will look great on kids now and their younger siblings later.

Ah, the Gap. We fell into you so long ago that we've forgotten what it was like to be free of your charms. We can scarcely recall life before you- there was a crowd and a food court and rows of glass doors that led to a warm place with a bright orange light in the sky. We don't miss it.

That's why when it was time to dress our family in corduroy and denim for the start of the school year we took our spawn to yours: GapKids.

The epic fashion wars between America and the UK have just gotten a little more heated -- or at least they have in our imaginative little minds.

Much like our Urban Outfitters stateside, the British operation is beginning to carry designer's lines that our exclusive to their store. While Luella Bartley can be found on the backs of every French Vogue guest editor and party blogger darling, the punky-princess whimsical pieces are usually hard to track down in the stores.


So imagine how jealous we were when we first heard that the UK's Urban Outfitters stores would be selling Luella's bewitching checkered tops and party girl dresses exclusively on their side of the pond. We were bitter, to say the least.

But thank god for the internet, because all of us high fashion fiends in America can now purchase Luella's pieces on the UK's Urban site. Everyone now: Yes! There's a couple of cheeky graphic tees, a sleek bomber jacket, and few other swoon-worthy items.

If you have a curvy figure, it's entirely likely that there are some days you wake up wishing you had a skinny, straight body.
