Lauren Bush Launches Eco-Friendly Clothing Line

Filed under: Style in the News

Lauren Pierce Spring '09We haven't sewn a day in our lives, and if we ever attempted to, our garment would probably amount to some type of bedazzled epic fail. Therefore, we can imagine it's probably a pretty nerve-wracking prospect to launch a clothing line right, while shanty towns pop up across America.

K-Fed's Doing Kids' Clothes

Filed under: Clothing, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes

Kevin FederlineAt a time when celebrity clothing lines aren't doing all that well, Kevin Federline has decided to throw his greasy trucker hat into the ring. And, since he's most famous for being a baby daddy, it's pretty fitting, we suppose, that he's planning to design a line of children's clothing.

Katie Holmes' new clothing line coming soon

How does TomKat sound as a label? The name has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Well, somehow we doubt that the line will actually be called that, but Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may be shopping around for a designer to help them get a fashion project off the ground -- and no, we're not talking about designing jeans here.

Paige Black Label remains neutral...in the best way possible

Paige Adams-Geller says her new, upscale line Paige Black Label
"is for the power player who never forgets her femininity." It's a fitting description--after all, beautifully-tailored, classic clothing is always a smart investment.

Adams-Geller's Paige Premium Denim is beloved for its attention to fit, and Paige Black Label only expands on that commitment. Simple, sophisticated pieces come in a neutral palette--gray, beige, black and navy--and exhibit a hyper-sensitivity to tailoring.

From high-waisted pants and skirts to leather jackets, the pieces have staying power while still feeling current. Check out Paige Black Label at stores including Cusp, Henri Bendel, and Ron Herman.

Audrina Patridge creates clothing line

Filed under: Style in the News

Is anyone still watching The Hills? Especially now with the return of America's Next Top Model and the new little fashion reality show at Bravo that documents the life of stylist Rachel Zoe. Well, we're not. The last time we checked in Heidi's sis had just moved in and Spencer was really, really fake mad about it.

But that aside, somewhere in between crying over Justin-Bobby and telling Lo off, Audrina Patridge managed to score a clothing deal. Not only will the Maxim cover girl be the face of Divine Rights of Denim, but she'll also be co-designing a line with the brand.

And unlike Lauren Conrad's line of jersey dresses, Patridge's collection will be moderately priced, with some pieces retailing for about $58.

Cory Kennedy and Erin Wasson: Champions of the homeless chic look

Filed under: Style in the News

In what could be compared only to when Freddy Mercury and David Bowie teamed up for Under Pressure, Cory Kennedy -- the mildly literate teen who is currently employed by Nylon -- and Erin Wasson -- the supermodel who notoriously hijacked somebody else's design aesthetic -- recently came together to discuss one the most important topics our generation has long been wrestling with: homeless chic.

Yes, you heard right. Cory was dispatched by her handlers to go interview Erin Wasson about her new clothing line, RVCA, which lead to Wasson rattling off about people whom she considers has the best style: "The people with the best style for me are the people that are the poorest. Like, when I go down to Venice beach and I see the homeless, like, I'm like, 'Oh my God, they're pulling out, like, crazy looks and they, like, pulled shit out of like garbage cans."

Gotta love her. Check out the rest of Erin's deep thoughts in this clip. Enjoy.

Tara Reid's 'Mantra' - Designing bikinis with beads

Filed under: Clothing, Swimwear and Lingerie, Dresses

When we heard that Tara Reid was launching a clothing line, the following three thoughts came to mind:
  1. Will she proactively prevent the nip-slip to save other girls from the embarrassment she faced?
  2. Will there be anything that's not shiny?
  3. Will there be a beer cozie included free with purchase?
