Oh, we know that fall is coming and with it comes the "serious" side of fashion; that it's a time for elegance and adding more sophisticated pieces to the wardrobe. We know it and we love it.
But here's the thing: While we're all for ladylike dressing, we can't help but thumb our nose at authority every once in a while - hence this week's focus on shoes that can only be called, well, childish. Some of the shoes are really just fun and cute as hell, but we also showed you a pair by one of today's hottest designers and a even found a pair that are displayed in a museum. We hope they inspire you to have some fun as well.
Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really, i.e., not jerky at all.

Honestly, it's probably not that difficult to tell that I'm a complete geek. I mean, come on, I'm a professional blogger for crying out loud. A big part of being a geek is attending comic book conventions. There's nothing quite like being swept away in a crowd of sweaty Stormtroopers and guys who only leave their mother's basement for more Mountain Dew and Fritos. Somehow, fashion made its way into the Baltimore Comic-Con this past weekend.
