November sale finds on the Web

With the holidays approaching, we're trying to refrain from spending much money on ourselves. Lucky for us, Intermix, Cusp, Chick Downtown, Shopbop and Active Endeavors are all having excellent sales online this week. Of course, we just had to share the news with Stylelist readers.

Paige Black Label remains neutral...in the best way possible

Paige Adams-Geller says her new, upscale line Paige Black Label
"is for the power player who never forgets her femininity." It's a fitting description--after all, beautifully-tailored, classic clothing is always a smart investment.

Adams-Geller's Paige Premium Denim is beloved for its attention to fit, and Paige Black Label only expands on that commitment. Simple, sophisticated pieces come in a neutral palette--gray, beige, black and navy--and exhibit a hyper-sensitivity to tailoring.

From high-waisted pants and skirts to leather jackets, the pieces have staying power while still feeling current. Check out Paige Black Label at stores including Cusp, Henri Bendel, and Ron Herman.

There's a new blog on the Cusp

blog ont he cuspWe're always looking out for our playmates in the world of fashion and style blogging, and we were more than happy to fall upon Blog on the Cusp.

Blog on the Cusp is the blog of the store Cusp and from their HelloWorld post, they are intending to "give you the Cusp girls' perspective, courtesy of our store managers and employees, who are on the front lines of fashion and shopping trends. They can see a handbag obsession occurring the minute stock arrives in the warehouse." In case you didn't know, Cusp is the younger, hipper sibling of Neiman Marcus. It isn't any cheaper to shop there (i.e. this isn't an "outlet" or "seconds" store); it simply carries clothing and accessories that cater to a crowd that might think of Neiman Marcus as Their first store opened first in McLean, VA, then Century City, CA.

New fashion store wants to tell your fortune

Cusp, the new store from Neiman Marcus designed to attract younger, hipper shoppers has come up with a unique idea. They have created a limited-edition, fashion-themed Tarot deck. The Cusp Cards are just the Major Arcana (22 cards) and each card is unique to a designer. The deck is a gift with purchase and featured designers include Robert Rodriguez, Rebecca Taylor, Tokidoki, Trina Turk, Rock & Republic, Diane vonFurstenberg and Jemma Kidd. The cards don't look too much like a traditional tarot deck since the cards vary so widely, but it is a charming idea and some of the designers really did some fun work. The va-va-voom card shown here is Ms. Diane Von Furstenberg as the Empress.

The two Cusp stores, one in Tyson's Corner, Virginia and one in Los Angeles, will also offer tarot card readings on Saturday afternoons.
