Coffee Makes Your Boobs Smaller

Filed under: Style in the News

Coffee -- Harmful or Helpful?

Ladies, we know you're aware of your breasts. Even if you're not at all vain, you watch them inflate and deflate monthly, when your weight fluctuates, or sometimes for seemingly no reason at all. Well, according to The Daily Mail, surprise breast shrinkage may be caused by excess coffee.

    From the article:
"[Scienists] said there was a clear link between drinking coffee and smaller breasts as around half of all women possess a gene that has been shown to link breast size to coffee intake."

Or maybe it's just that women who drink lots of coffee run around like crazy, so they weigh less, so their boobs shrink? All we know is that we really don't want this to be true.

But fortunately it's not all bad. While your morning pick-me-up may be shrinking your boobs, scientists have also discovered a number of potential health benefits to drinking coffee. Studies have shown that it could reduce your risk of diabetes, colon cancer, Parkinson's disease -- even cavities!

The key to many of coffee's potential health benefits are antioxidants, which protect against toxic free radicals, and in turn help prevent chronic disease.

And there's more! In addition to protecting your body from potential long-term illness, coffee reportedly offers all kinds of everyday benefits -- from relieving headaches and managing asthma, to improving your mental performance.

Michelle Gets $30,000 Ring as Thank You Gift From Barack - Rumor Mill

Filed under: Accessories, Celebrities with Style

The Giovanni Bosco ring that Barack supposedly ordered for MichelleSome of you are probably already thinking: after all the controversies along the campaign trail about extravagant shoes and outrageous clothing budgets, is it possible that the Obamas would turn around and do something that's so seemingly 'out of touch?' Well, anything is possible -- and you know that Michelle probably deserves a $30,000 Giovanni Bosco ring for putting up with her husband's nearly 2-year presidential campaign. But we kinda doubt it. And Team Obama is completely denying it.

Creepy Angelina Jolie doll has lots and lots of company

Filed under: Style in the News

So...remember that creepy but irresistible Angelina Jolie doll that Annie found on eBay? It was a little too lifelike, but also a little too idealized...basically we've been waiting to hear that it came to life and killed the guy (because it was a guy, right?) who bought it for £2,000.

Now the Daily Mail has a story on the artist, Noel Cruz. And guess what? There are more dolls. A lot more.

Is Naomi Campbell pregnant?

In the epic story that is the life of Naomi Campbell, it seems as though our protagonist has finally met her match:

The legal system.

Last week, the supermodel was charged with six offenses for her little verbal and bodily fluid assault at an officer on a British Airways flight last month, which land her with a $10,000 fine, and even worse, a stint in jail for six months!

Scary Spice unveils leopardskin wardrobe for cougars

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

Look out Posh, Mel B., our own Scary Spice, finally has her own line of clothes called Catty Couture.

We assume that the "couture" part is ironic. As far as the clothes themselves, they look like the dream wardrobe for the Real Housewives of MILF Island.

It's official: push-up bra is greatest fashion invention ever

After conducting a poll of more than 3,000 women, UK department store Debenham's has crowned the bust-boosting bra the #1 greatest fashion invention. Was there really any question? Second in line was the boot cut jeans, but it wasn't even close. Though the push-up didn't really catch on until the early 90's, women seem to think that the push-up is the most important weapon in their fashion arsenal to date. I got no problem with that.

Some people have been hinting that there's something wrong with women electing a fashion device that "exists purely for men" as their #1 fashion accessory. Do you think that women wear push-up bras exclusively for men? Personally, I think that's a bit of a stretch, women dress sexy for themselves and each other just as much or more than they do to impress the opposite sex. Either way, the push-up bra is the democratically elected winner in a poll where only women were allowed to vote -- and their votes must be respected.

I certainly don't think there's any shame in wearing a bra that is designed to accentuate. Men are wearing girdles and padded underwear to make them look more buff. Are men wearing these items purely for the benefit of women? I doubt it.

Buffy gets naked, what a tease

Filed under: Skin Care, Celebrities with Style

After years of waiting, Buffy the Vampire Slayer finally decided to do some nude photography -- sort of. This is as close as it gets with Sarah Michelle Gellar, who has maintained that she will never take it all off for the camera. The ads feature a series of images, each displays an indistinguishable part of the star's body. One features her hand and forearm, another her face resting on her knees, shrouded in her hair. The tagline reads: keep skin amazing.

The beauty of it is, that the sexy ads are for everybody's favorite hand lotion: Vaseline. This is the kind of ad concept that's just made for one-liners. I had the urge to crank one out about how the ads were jerking us all off -- but that's just what the ad firm wants, so I'll stop there.

Initially, the skin care giant challenged customers to guess which celebrity was featured in the ads. Now the photos are being auctioned off to benefit the Coalition of Skin Diseases. So it's all for a good cause.

Early in her career, Gellar promised never to do nudity, and it's rumored that she requires no-nudity clauses in her film contracts. According to Female First, she didn't actually pose naked for the ads, but wore a black dress that was digitally removed. Doh!
