Now Lindvall has taken all her fashion insider knowledge and channeled it into a limited edition T-shirt that she created with Edun LIVE.

The collaboration will be offered exclusively at Yoox.com as part of the site's environmentally conscious YOOXYGEN.

Keds Goes Green with Loomstate

Opt for eco-friendly and fashionable kicks! Keds and Loomstate have teamed up for a line of environmentally conscious slip-ons. Photo courtesy of Keds

Launching exclusively at Barneys today (June 15), Keds has teamed up with Loomstate for a summer collection of sustainable and organic versions of its iconic canvas sneaker.

The capsule collection consists of five printed, slip-on styles with organic uppers and linings and a 100 percent recycled insole. Just to be thorough, each pair will also come in a recycled, re-used shoe box and forgo the usual tissue paper inside.

A percentage of the proceeds will go to Organic Exchange, an organization that supports sustainable and organic farming.

At $75 a pair, they may not be the cheapest pair of Keds you've ever owned, but they are definitely the greenest!

CHANEL Transporter - More Than Meets the Eye

Filed under: Style in the News

Park it like it's haute! Photo courtesy of CHANEL

Can you say hot ride? And bonus, the CHANEL Personal Transporter is also eco-friendly! It runs on pure style. No really, it's electric. The battery will last about 15 to 20 kilometers (approximately 9-12 miles).

And tomorrow, May 21, someone extremely lucky (and rich) will get to bid on CHANEL's chic mode of transport at the amfAR Gala being held at the Hotel du Cap in Cannes. This is the third year the fashion house is taking part in the annual fund-raising event for AIDS research.

The "don't call it a scooter" will be put up for auction by an international celebrity couple (the speculation wheels are spinning) at the gala, presided over by President Bill Clinton and actress Sharon Stone.

The signature CHANEL quilted pouch sure beats that plastic flower basket we used to have on our Schwinns!

Honk if you like my purse!

Vintage -- and green -- beauty, Dita Von Teese

We are so jealous of Rachel Sarnoff from EcoStiletto, the super-fun and stylish site all about easy ways to be fabulous and eco-friendly. The site has Rachel's new interview with one of our style heroines, the divine Dita Von Teese. They chatted about Dita's attention-getting vintage wardrobe, fashion icons, young Hollywood style, and her thoughts on being an "accidental ecoista."

Despite Dita's frenetic pace – she just got back from a star turn in Paris at renowned Crazy Horse theater, has two new burlesque shows in the works and a book coming out with famed photographer Sheryl Nields -- she is always turned out in impeccable vintage style, including her signature cinched-waist designer frocks.

It's the glamour – plus the frequently friendlier price tags – of vintage that have always appealed to Dita. One thing she hadn't considered? The green angle of vintage.

Lauren Bush Launches Eco-Friendly Clothing Line

Filed under: Style in the News

Lauren Pierce Spring '09We haven't sewn a day in our lives, and if we ever attempted to, our garment would probably amount to some type of bedazzled epic fail. Therefore, we can imagine it's probably a pretty nerve-wracking prospect to launch a clothing line right, while shanty towns pop up across America.
