Tip of the day: Be global. Shop Language.

Filed under: Stores We Love, Style Tip of the Day

Awesome website Language allows gals stuck in one locale (us) to "shop the world" from the comfort of home.

The Language staff travels the globe to find the most exciting new designers and brings them to straight to your door, thanks to the internet. You can shop by designer, look, or even by country! Have a flare for all things French? No problem! Just click the interactive map to bring up the latest in French design.

The notion of "opposites attract," (you know, pairing menswear with feminine flourishes or a mixing a vintage piece with fine jewelry) also plays a huge part in their selections. Language claims it helps their customer "make a fresh individual fashion statement." A unique, innovative take on fashion? Sounds good to us!

Now let's see... where do we want to "go" shop today?? Hmm... Thailand sounds good! We'll see you when we get back!

We recently caught up with Cynthia James, designer of the new line, JamesCyn handbags. Phoenix Fashion Week: Attention Project Runway junkies!

Remember the cute, quirky little Emily Brandle from season 5? The one that was outed in Episode 3? Though the season hasn't even ended (in the television world anyway), Emily has already managed to design a new collection entitled "Smoke and Mirrors" and has scored a top spot in Phoenix Fashion Week.

Founder and organizer Brian Hill says that, "Her (Emily's) experience with "Project Runway" and her outstanding new line make her a perfect participant for this year's collection line up."

So often we find ourselves wondering what happens to these designers. We're so glad Emily has resurfaced and from what we've seen so far, we can't wait to see the rest!

Through the years: Christina Aguilera

Through the years, when everything went wrong,

Together we were strong. I know that I belonged
Right here with you ... through the years - Kenny Rogers

We don't think any celebrity on the planet deserves a Through the Years post like Christina Aguilera. Holy hell has she gone through some transformations – the good, the bad, and the horrifically bad. When it's good it's great but when it's bad, dear God!

Let's take a look at the past ten years that Christina has graced us with her celebrity presence in this week's installment.

Tip of the day: Get Cali chic like Cam.

Filed under: Stores We Love, Style Tip of the Day

Just like you, we are suckers for all things simple and free – a comfy tailored jacket, a ruffled top, a floaty dress, or a sweet denim mini. But finding all of these things together in one line is often hard to come by. That is until we found Golden State.

Usher, Paris, and lingerie

Filed under: Runway Trends, Swimwear and Lingerie, Celebrities with Style

This past Sunday, Usher found himself at the Paris Fashion Week Marlies Dekkers show, but it wasn't just to ogle at the models dressed in the lingerie maker's racy designs. In fact, he was doing research.

"You might have heard that I might be launching a lingerie line for men and women," said Usher, who added, "Comfort and intimacy is very important." He also mentioned that some of his Trading Places video featured some of his own designs.

Usher wasn't the only famous face taking in the Dutch designer's show -- Mischa Barton, Kelly Rowland, and Ne-Yo were also in attendance.

Posh's shoes forgot their heels

Filed under: Accessories, Celebrities with Style, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes

To us, these Antonio Berardi shoes are wrong on so many levels. Questions swirl. How high do these go up? Dear God how sweaty are her thighs? How uncomfortable is it to have shoes in your whowho? But mostly, where are the heels!? She realizes there are no heels right?

Who knows, maybe we're all mistaken and they are actually walkable, practical, and quite comfortable. We doubt it. We're figuring she's just prancing around on her tiptoes and clinging to Becks for dear life. Which we guess isn't all bad actually!

On a side note, we love how in half the pictures it looks like hubby David is talking to the crowd while Posh is doing what she does best – posing. Hilarious! We just adore you VB!
