Flapper Fab - Is Drew Rocking A Hot Fall Trend Early?

Drew was a vision in Gatsby-era glam at the premiere of her film Grey Gardens last night.
Was she inspired by Dior's flapper-tastic fall runway look (above, right), or was it an ode to her character -- little Edie Beale -- in the HBO movie, which airs on April 18th at 8pm? Either way, she gussied up for the paparazzi in brilliant red lips and a fab Twenties-style Alberta Ferreti gown. Her classic finger-wave 'do and head piece completed the nod to flapper fashion and made for a dazzling old Hollywood, red-carpet entrance.
Haven't even pulled your spring wardrobe out from under the bed yet? You may want to think of skipping over jumpsuits and Hammer pants and going directly to glam.
The last installment of the holiday attire series is super fun and our favorite – the New Year's dress. This is the most appropriate time to step outside of your comfort zone and wear something so glittering, so glamorous, so jaw dropping that your family and friends will hardly recognize you.
If we lived in the 20's, our guess is that we'd totally be a party and fashion addicted flapper – playing nice with the boys but being one heck of sexy girl.
Haute couture shows used to be only for the eyes of the fashion elite, but thanks to the wonders of the internet, now we're all able to enjoy the glorious fashion that comes down the runway. Givenchy showed their Fall-Winter 2009 Haute Couture collection this week and the clothes were pretty sweet!
Let me explain why dressing up as a Flapper from the Roaring '20s is an awesome idea for this Halloween:
