Rich & Infamous: Snoop Dogg launches a celebrity clothing line

Joining the ever growing list of celebrities cashing in on their name recognition, Snoop Dogg -- a celebrity with one of the coolest names ever -- has teamed up with superstar CEO Robert Thorne to sling his own celebrity endorsed streetwear called "Rich and Infamous". According to Thorne (the guy behind the Olsens' clothing empire), the line is inspired by Snoop's "trend-savvy classic vision," but here's how Snoop explains the concept:

"It's a fraternity of sorts, from presidents to gangsters-who've been able to endure the burden of gaining wealth at any cost. Garnering equal parts admiration and disdain, these men savor the fruits and relish the spotlight."

The website is up, and so far -- we're kinda underwhelmed. The styles don't exactly scream "rich" or "infamous" to us. It's mostly just t-shirts -- and really overpriced ones at that. At least Snoop's totally candid about the fact that he's in it for the money. In a way, it's kind of refreshing -- though we seriously doubt that slapping his name on a clothing line will be the hardest buck he's ever made.
