Salma Hayek - This beer garden girl isn't fit for family entertainment

Filed under: Dresses, Celebrities with Style

Sexy Salma Hayek has never been shy about showing off her curves, but the outfit she had to wear on German television after losing a bet had the censors hopping. The actress and new mom wore a dirndl, which is the proper name for the Bavarian dresses you see at Oktoberfest. You know, the dresses meant to cinch in the waist and accentuate the cleavage -- like Hayek needs any help in that department.

I want that! Grey Ant pants

Filed under: Daily Obsession, Get the Look

We first really noticed Diane Kruger in the movie Troy where she held her own alongside some of our favorite sexies -- Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, and Eric Bana. *sigh* After stalking her a little bit we learned that she is a German born model who now dates actor Joshua Jackson (Pacey anyone?), which makes sense since her style is such a great blend of laid back Americana with flirty European chic.

This daring pairing, which she wore at the Longchamp 60th anniversary party, is no exception. She waves her good old US of A flag with nautical inspiration, a slouchy fit and hat and mixes it with a crisp yet daring pair of high waisted trousers and cut off top, courtesy of her heritage across the pond.

Gold heels and nothing else?

Nudists are fascinating, aren't they?

I've often wondered what it is that motivates them. Is it the shock value? Is it for attention? Or is nudism some subtle way of giving the finger to society's staunch sense of propriety?

It's probably a combination of all three. Consider this nudist story and you'll see what I mean: last week a young, blond German woman paid a visit to a gas station in the town of Doemitz wearing nothing but a pair of gold stilettos and a bracelet. Apparently, she stopped off to buy a pack of cigarettes before hopping back in her car and speeding away.

The clerks on duty at the time told Reuters that her nude visit wasn't all that out of the ordinary since the woman in question, whom they described as "nice", had pulled this move on several previous occasions. The clerks say that everyone else in the store acted as though she were fully dressed with the exception of one patron who managed to snap a picture of the woman, which he later shared with the German press.

Forgive me for being cynical, but I'd imagine this stunt would have been less well-received if the nudist in question been a 55-year-old man in Birkenstocks instead of a tall, svelte blond in stilettos.
