We've harped on Jessica Szohr's red carpet style in the past, but suddenly, she seems to get it. She's looking fresh and young (and much less sloppy than she looked here), and -- dare we say it? -- we'd love to snag her look.

Last night Michele Obama took a break from the Presidential campaign trail and made an appearance on the Jay Leno show. She talked about her husband Barack's ailing grandmother, Toots, and her daughter's lack of awe for his upcoming 30 minute T.V. special. But the big news was her stylishly cheery yellow ensemble.

When it comes to classic films I haven't seen any of them. People will ask me if I have seen a certain movie and 9 times out of 10 my answer is no. The response I usually get is "What! That's a classic!" Frankly, I am sick of hearing it so I am on a mission to catch up on classic films. Last night I plopped down on the couch to watch 'Annie Hall.'

I have to admit I have zero interest when it comes to Woody Allen films but I knew the fashions in the movie were supposed to be top notch. It took a bit of time to get to the good clothes in the movie but when Annie had her first encounter with Alvy after their tennis match I was in love.



Getting the Annie Hall look is simple. Just take some basic menswear inspired pieces and wear them with a whole lot of confidence. Confidence is key with this look considering that overall it is baggy and on the surface has no sex appeal -- add confidence and you are suddenly the sexiest girl on the block.

There's also a tutorial on their blog, if you're not into video. It's a really simple sewing project, and the result is amazing! Who said you need to spend thousands of dollars to get an fresh-from-the-runway look?

What the world needs now, is a new 'Sex and the City' ...

It's pretty much impossible to replicate the power of 'Sex and the City' and it's influence on the fashion world but you can't hate a show for trying. 'Cashmere Mafia' on ABC is one of many shows being called "the next Sex and the City." It certainly has the right ingredients; 4 women in New York City who wear designer fashions -- heck even SATC stylist Patricia Field is the costume designer for the show too.

The show doesn't fill my 'Sex and the City' void completely but there are a few fashionable finds on the program, like this outfit worn by the character Caitlin Dowd.

We are hooked on Gossip Girl in the unhealthiest way. It started innocently enough: we would tune in simply to see what the girls were wearing on the show, never paying mind to the (non-existent?) story lines. Now I pay attention to both the clothes and the story lines. Shame on us, we know, but this show is gold.

Hands down, our favorite character is Blair Waldorf. Blair is mean and we like that, plus the girl always looks amazing, which we like, too. In this still photo from the show, Blair is out for a little ice-skating and manages to make mismatched plaids and white tights look good. We Love Beauty has created the ultimate beauty shopping guide. The beautiful people over at We Love Beauty gathered up Hollywood's finest make-up artists and hair stylists and asked them to recommend their favorite products.

One of my personal favorites is Nicole Richie's look on the cover of UK Marie Claire, created by celebrity makeup artist Paul Starr. Miss Richie was rocking her signature dark smoky eyes and a muted pink lip. I have always wanted to master the smoky eye (especially Nicole's), here is how to get the look:

Paul lined the upper and inner eye using Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner in black. The Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner is a liquid liner in the form of a gel base. "The color is long-wearing and water-resistant and can be used to create subtle to dramatic looks."

A smoky eye isn't just in the liner; it's in the mascara too. Before applying the mascara, Paul curled Nicole's lashes with his favorite eyelash curler by Japonesque. After giving them a curling he coated her lashes with lots (3 to 4 coats) of Chanel mascara.
