I have a female friend that is 35 years old and every time she goes out, she insists on splashing glitter all over her face. I told her that a little on her eyes would be okay but that she is too old to be putting glitter all over her face. She looks like a circus clown. My question is, at what age do you think women should stop wearing glitter?
One of the reasons we love/hate Holiday parties is the shoes we have/get to wear. On the one hand, we love that we "get" to wear pretty little party shoes with shiny, sparkly things to match the jewel tone cocktail dresses and upswept hair we'll be wearing. On the other hand, it's winter, and pretty little party shoes in the snow or rain don't do well. For this reason, we are reluctant to wear our $500 Jimmy Choo gold sandals and ruin them.
I have never been pregnant (thank goodness) so I can only imagine how hard it is to keep up appearances while toting around a 7-8 lb baby in your belly. That is why I applaud apparel retailers like Pea in the Pod and all of the designers that design maternity wear.
