Filed under: Stores We Love, Shoes, Product Reviews, Must Haves

Havaianas ... we don't remember where those roses came fromHavaianas sent us a great pair of flip flops to try out. Havaianas are already totally the It-flops, having been spotted on Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Cameron Diaz. But guess what's special about our pair? It has to do with why they're sitting in the window.

Tip of the day: Concert gear & supplies

We had a great weekend. We danced our butts off, sang our hearts out and probably had one too many beers at the Glow in the Dark tour in illy Philly on Saturday night. But as always, we were thinking of our dear reader's and before we went in to enjoy the likes of Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco (heart!), N.E.R.D. and the brilliant Kayne, we took a tour of tailgate heaven to see what's hot and what's not for concert gear this year.

Here is a breakdown of the ideal concert attire:

The case of the glowing pillow

Filed under: Haute Home, Accessories, Men, Kids and Babies

Comfy Cozy makes stuff that glows in the dark. That's their thing, like drinking too much in public is mine. Everyone has their niche.

One of their more popular items is the glow in the dark pillowcase. By day the cases feature a picture on them that is bright and colorful, and you know what happens when the lights go out. That's when the magic happens. It's business time.

I am a parent of two small boys and they would love something like this. It would make the transition away from the nightlight all the easier. However, when I saw this product I didn't think about my kids. I thought about me, walking through the dark after a midnight diaper change using my iPhone as a flashlight and how nice it would be to have a beacon to guide me back to bed. I also thought about how handy it would be coming home late at night to have a large glowing sign saying "lay your drunk-ass head here." I could crawl right into bed without waking the wife. This damn pillowcase could save my marriage! (I usually think of my kids first, I swear.)

Comfy Cozy, you make a swell product here, and I'm sure the kids think it is awesome, but you're missing an untapped market (don't forget my cut).

Glow-in-the-dark bikini top lets you light up the night

This is so unbelievably tacky I can't believe I'm mentioning it on a style blog, but nevertheless, it's a fun idea. Plus, for those of you who are really into clubbing, this just might be your dream outfit.

The Glow-Go bikini top and skirt will help you light up the dance floor for at least 10 hours (when the batteries will run out). That means you can start your night at 9pm, party like a rock star until sun up, and still be glowing with neon-orange sex appeal.

But wait -- there's more! Not into orange? There's an entire collection of LED-enhanced clothing -- everything from jackets to hats to shockingly bright boas, green, blue, and pink.

Animal lovers might want to be careful. The line is called GloFur, so it's possible the fuzzy garments might be made from real dead animals.

But if you don't care, or you're willing to take the risk, this is a collection that could be a seriously awesome addition to your big night out.
