Hozell: Leisure with dignity

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Men

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

How is your life? Do you have enough leisure in it? Are you dressed for it? Hozell Clothing can help.

Hozell is a new clothing company from Orange County, CA. Their mission is to make clothing which embodies a relaxed life of leisure. They're doing a damn good job.

Celine Dion has an addiction: Can you guess what it is?

Filed under: Accessories, Shoes, Celebrities with Style

Celine Dion has a confession to make: She is an addict.

She loves to shop, and, as a result, now owns "between two and three thousand pairs of shoes," and is addicted to shoe shopping. Think about that for a second -- that was her quote. She has so many shoes that she doesn't even know which thousand she's closest to!

Puma joins with Luke Wilson and Johan Edfors on new golf line

Filed under: Handbags, Events: On the Scene, Accessories, Style in the News, Clothing, Shoes, Men, Celebrities with Style

According to Puma Talk: "Luke Wilson, actor and avid golfer, teamed up with PUMA golf star Johan Edfors to create a special edition range of PUMA Golf products for this spring and summer." The line will launch in April and July, respectively.

Said Wilson, "To work with a brand like PUMA – that has such innovative and versatile product – on a golf line that fits my style and personality has been a real pleasure. We had some real fun with some of the product designs including the Porkpie hat and C-hopper shoe that you can wear on or off the course by just removing the spikes."

Stylefoul: the visor

Filed under: Clothing, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes

Sure, it keeps the sun out of your eyes. And sure, it keeps the top of your head from getting hot. And okay, it's got function. But what about form?

Really, how could a visor possibly be stylish? One of the darker periods of my life occurred when seemingly every vaguely athletic man I knew insisted upon wearing a visor out on the town. Yes, it was tragic. And, yes, it passed (not unlike a kidney stone). Yet even today, we still see remnants of visor chic almost everywhere.

People, even on the golf links -- and, in fact, even if you're a sponsored professional golfer -- I'm not sure a visor could ever qualify as anything but a Stylefoul.
