Corpus grey drop crotch sweatpantsWhile we're not really sure that we'd be doing old-school sheik culture justice by referring to these top-heavy sweatpants as "harem-inspired," the drop crotch look for men is being adopted, or at the very least, pretending to be. According to the rumor mill, Corpus' now infamous drop crotch pants have sold out a few times over at OAK. Even though we're not seeing them with any regularity outside of fashion blogs, chatter about these extremely comfortable looking, yet unflattering pants has been mighty persistent over the past year.

We're going to be honest -- there's one person we can picture wearing these, and her name rhymes with fiancee (even though she's now actually a wife). And to be honest, that's only because she actually is behind the phrase bootylicious, and is there any word these make you think of more than bootylicious?

Okay, maybe "diaper" comes to mind. We'll give you that.

Seriously though -- people are actually wearing those ultra-baggy, parachute sweatpants you thought were super-cool in junior high. Except ever since they started showing up on runways last year, they've been known as "harem pants."
