Cat Deeley's Vintage Addiction

Cat Deeley, the fashionably funky host of "So You Think You Can Dance," is gearing up for Season Five, and in her interview with AOL Television, she spills the beans on her "ridiculous outfits" (her words, not ours!).

Deeley says that she has "an awful lot of say" in what she wears on the show, and admits that she wants people "to either love it or hate it; to always have an opinion about it." This year, she'll be fully in charge of her wardrobe, which she explains as "a bit of designer and a little bit of High Street mixed with lots of vintage finds -- my secret addiction is heading out to flea markets and rummaging around, looking for buried treasure."

We've been digging on Deeley's unique style for quite a while, and aren't at all ashamed to admit that half the fun of watching the show is checking out what the leggy blonde wears. Tonight's premiere can't come soon enough!

From Red Carpet to Your Closet: Cat Deeley at the American Idol finale

Filed under: Celebrities with Style, Get the Look

We happily admit to a So You Think You Can Dance addiction, partly due to the amazing dancing, but also because we're always dying to know what host Cat Deeley will be wearing. She's at least eight feet tall, and quite thin, so obviously, she can wear just about anything. Still, she occasionally chooses outfits that make us wonder if maybe British fashion is like the British sense of humor -- rather different than American, but enjoyable once you "get it."

This outfit from the American Idol finale is something that we absolutely, completely get. True, it works for her largely because of her height and slim build, but it's one of our favorite jumpsuits this year, and even if you don't get it as a jumpsuit, this is a look that you could absolutely rock at a party. Check out the gallery to see how.

Heidi Klum vs Iman: Catwalk catfight?

Though it could have been the start of a feud between Heidi Klum, host of the U.S.'s version of Project Runway and Iman, host of Canada's version, it appears that will not be the case.

Iman was recently quoted as saying that she has much more high fashion experience than Klum. Claws out, right? Well, when Heidi was asked about it at the launch of her line of jeans for Jordache at Bloomingdales, she responded by saying Iman was right. Huh? Is that the kind of behavior we expect from a supermodel?

Decorating for your Kentucky Derby party

The Kentucky Derby is right around the corner (Saturday, May 3) -- what are your plans? If you're not heading to Louisville, you can still enjoy the festivities of the event by hosting a fabulous party in your home.

If you want to keep some of the Derby traditions in tact, you'll need to serve some particular drinks and dishes, but even before the food comes out, you'll want to set the tone with decor. Here are two ways to decorate, going along with the two types of Derby-goers (Millionaire's Row and the infield).

Ladies and gentlemen, the comedic stylings of Mr. Jon Stewart

Filed under: Events: On the Scene, Celebrities with Style, Red Carpet Trends

Tonight is the night. The Oscars are upon us. It's a nice feeling knowing that even though I'm sitting here in my pajamas on a rainy Los Angeles morning with a cup of coffee and the Times that the stars are probably knee-deep in dresses that cost more than my house, borrowed jewelry, and their third glass of champagne.

I'm guessing that Jon Stewart is as nervous as anyone, if not more so. The comedian will be our host for this, the biggest night in entertainment, despite word that some of the Academy were less than thrilled with his previous job two years ago. Personally, I thought he was hilarious.

His fashion isn't the type that gets mentioned on sites like this, although it is often worn when writing on sites like this, go figure. Hey, you try blogging in haute couture and see how long that lasts.

No, Mr. Stewart is a regular guy with a sharp wit and a panache for exploiting the obvious. The night looks promising. Enjoy your Oscars.

Since the promos this year don't give Stewart any face time we'll share one from his first go:
