On Monday we announced that Wimbledon winner Serena Williams will be launching a new anti-aging skincare line on HSN called Mission Skincare Active-Beauty Featuring Serena Williams.

The standout product of the collection is a waterless cleanser (as in, you don't need water to use it!) that claims to dissolve makeup and tone the skin in 90 seconds.

To promote the new line, Williams and Mission Skincare are giving you the chance to win two VIP tickets to one of the tennis star's tournaments with the opportunity to meet her, or an autographed tennis racket and $1,000 gift basket filled with some of the champ's favorite things.

To enter, click here and explain in 90 seconds what you wish your beauty routine could do for you.

The contest is open from July 8 (that's today!) through July 21.

Good luck!

RAW Essentials by Carol Alt

Carol AltYou may recognize Carol Alt as "The Face" that graced hundreds of magazine covers and starred in countless TV and film productions in the 1980s. But for over ten years, the supermodel-actress has been living a life dependent on raw foods.

When Carol was 34 years old, she began to experience weight gain, dry skin, chronic colds, and changes in her mood. After learning that a friend's doctor helped her to defeat cancer by following a raw diet, Carol thought she'd give it a try. "I thought that if raw foods can help with something as serious as cancer, can you you imagine what it can do with my sinus infections, my headaches, my colds and flus?" said Carol. "I was tired of doing the same thing over and over, and not getting any different results. So, I just took a shot."

Since then, she's been free of sinus infections and headaches and within two weeks, she went from 134 pounds to 122 pounds!

StyleList recently got the chance to talk to Carol about her new raw skin care line, Raw Essentials, transitioning to a raw foods lifestyle, and what exactly she considers "raw."

Besides chocolate and cheesy films, we have a pretty unhealthy weakness for new fragrances. Especially ones with ornate bottles that make our counter tops look lush, and dare we say, Parisian.

WSJ shoe betch is totally our sole mate

Filed under: Accessories, Style in the News, Shoes, Celebrities with Style

Today the Wall Street Journal is running the inspirational story of Meghan Cleary and her brave efforts to keep more than 100 shoes organized in a typical shoebox NYC apartment.

We love this woman as much as we love the original Shoe Betch. She so gets it. But of course she does. Meghan makes her living writing and speaking about shoes. She is a "shoe expert." Job envy alert!

Tori Spelling turns jewelry designer

Filed under: Accessories, Celebrities with Style

Say what you like about Tori Spelling, but she has certainly merchandised herself like crazy since the inheritance that never was. First there was her yard sale, then the bed and breakfast reality show and finally the recent Nutrisystem push. Add one more thing to the list, Tori has her own jewelry line. The Tori Spelling collection will debut on the Home Shopping Network on July 24. The 12-piece collection will have necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more in gold-tone metal and semi-precious stones and will sell for $29 to $129. Tori is quoted in a statement as saying the pieces are ones that she would personally wear. Hmm... "would" perhaps but somehow I doubt that she does.
