Lee Jeans ad campaign on a wire

Filed under: Events: On the Scene, Clothing

lee jeans campaignIf there was ever a time for a comeback from the '80s, it's now. First Jordache returns with a high-end remodel, and high-end model Elizabeth Hurley, now Lee Jeans is going hard-core with an advertising campaign on the streets of Paris. The promotional campaign was created by French agency, Tribeca, features real Lee jeans suspended from rope tied to buildings, as if hung on a laundry line. Jeans are also hung on street poles.

Hey, if the company puts that much thought and creativity into an ad campaign, maybe their jeans will be worthwhile this time around.

Jordache Jeans says "modern woman" with Elizabeth Hurley

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing

jordache jeansRemember Jordache Jeans? Of course you don't! Like all of us, you were way too young to remember the designer jeans craze of the 1970s that was headed by the horse-emblazoned brand.

Jordache Jeans is re-vamping their image as a brand for the modern woman, and has picked up model-actress Elizabeth Hurley to star in print ads that will publish starting in September. Both the Jordache Vintage line, sold in high-end retail stores, and the new Jordache Legacy line, which will be sold exclusively through Macy's stores across the country, will be available this fall.

I'm just waiting for the comeback of Ooh-la-la Sasson!
