Super-amazing alternative blog Coilhouse loves Etsy, the online extra-supermarket for all things handmade, just as much as we do. While we were distracted by the full-sequined tea cozies or bizarre dog-hair sweaters (we don't actually know if those exist, but we wouldn't be surprised), Coilhouse compiled this handy post called "The Pervert's Guide to Etsy." It's just as it sounds, really, so it's not for the faint-of-heart or anyone that has very solid pre-conceived notions of hipster goods.

Looking at the list, we can dig what's going on. Yeah, we're hip (is it hip to use "hip" these days?), and despite the fact that latex isn't our first -- or second or third -- choice for breathable fabric, we can appreciate the naughtier side of this seemingly innocent corner of the Internet world. As for the fanny pack, there aren't enough sexy ruffles in the world to tempt us, as long as the words "fanny" and "pack" are involved.

Only a couple of weeks after we outed rock stars for being lame, Fergie goes on the Today Show and delivers this completely slutty performance -- and totally redeems herself. It's a little bit controversial to say the least, especially on a morning show in front of freaked out little kids. But the leather (latex?) pants looked great and soccer moms nationwide are no doubt furious at her and the network. All is right with the world.

As our friends at StyleList have so generously reminded us, latex leggings are still making the rounds on the legs and bottoms of your favorite celebrities. We warned you in the fall, and then again this winter, and now the time has come -- the trend is at its peak.

Clearly, this shift from skinny jeans to pants that, somehow, are even tighter, isn't going anywhere any time soon. The question is: do you care? Sure it looks OK on ultra-thin actresses, models and pop stars who spend hours at the gym, working every minor bulge into submission with the help of high-dollar personal trainers. But will it look good on normal women?
