We're starting to gear up for the back to school fashions (and the inevitable dress code restrictions), and one of the things we always like to add to a conservative is a really unique, offbeat piece of jewelry. We think this qualifies.

So your eyes need a little help, huh? Don't be miffed that you need glasses -- celebrate! This gives you a whole extra accessory to wear! Especially if you just need reading glasses and don't have to wear a specific prescription -- reading glasses are not terribly expensive, and you can find some amazing frames to show off your personal style.

David Vitteris in hot water. Not only was the US Senator recently revealed as a client of "D.C. Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey's "escort service," but his wife appeared with him on national television dressed like a total ho.

At least, that's how Keith Olberman would describe it. The host of Countdown ran this graphic (at right) when discussing Vitter's scandal, insinuating that the senator's wife is dressed like a prostitute. Zing!

Some people have their undies in a bunch over whether or not Olberman's use of the word "ho," was appropriate, but the real question is: was he right? Granted, the leopard-print is pretty skanky, plus the high sleeves and plunging neckline show a little more skin than your average politician's wife, but I'd stop short of calling her a ho.

That said, there's no question that the top is a fashion faux pas. Mrs. Vitter looks like an older version of those trashy women from 80s movies that always show up whenever there's a scene in a "tough" biker bar.

Leopard print never goes out of style, argue with me all you want, but it is timeless. Leopard print amateurs typically wear it with red or black and slip it in their outfit when they want to look a little foxy. Leopard print and other animal prints are often associated with the cooler months as well (perhaps it's the whole fur thing) but the truth is leopard is in style year round. There are plenty of ways to incorporate it into your wardrobe this summer; something as simple as a watch with a slick leopard face or you can hide your wild side with a pair of leopard panties; there is a bit of leopard for everyone.

Sometimes we get blasted here at Styledash for blogging about fur, but not to worry animal lovers, this is faux fur. And even if you have an aversion to leopard print (which I certainly don't) because you find it tacky, how can you not love these adorable baby diaper covers? Almost turns your baby into an accessory!

We already know that you can wear leopard print from head-to-toe (but maybe not all at once, overeager fashionista). However, what if you like the look of the leopard, but don't quite want to fully sport the spot? A good way to do it is to dress in your usual style, but show a little bit of your wild-child side in your shoes. Animal prints, like skulls have become one of the major design themes for fall. Now you can even have knitting needles in a leopard print. Bella Blue makes these birch needles with gold finials and a black maribou boa. The needles are given a special sleek finish so that the wool glides over them. There are also crochet hooks in the same print. The knitting needles have a list price of $38 and were recently included in gift bags for celebrities during the August television awards season.

Animal-style is taking over for fall, and we're not talking about grilled onions and secret sauce on a Double Double at In n Out Burger. Designers have brought leopard prints up and out for fall, and what was once seen as a little "Vegas slut"-y is now ultra sexy and sophisticated. Here are seven ways to add animal-style to seven days of your life, without the fat and calories. Just don't go overboard and wear it all at once.

Sunday - Off to the church potluck? Keep it subdued with a little bit of leopard in your accessories. A thin, leopard print belt from Ann Taylor wrapped around your waist is just enough "crazy" against your conservative black trousers and camel-colored cashmere twinset. J. Crew also has one for $68, and if you're going ultra-luxe, D&G's is $340.

Monday - It's back to work, but you're late for a meeting! And you only know this because you've been admiring your wrist, adorned with a fabulous little watch with a leopard print band by Betsey Johnson. Work in a very corporate atmosphere? Anne Klein's leopard printed ovals are a little more subtle.

Tuesday - You're meeting the girls at the mall during the lunch hour so you need to trade in that laptop bag for a handbag you can grab and go. Save that itty bitty clutch from Roberto Cavalli for the weekend, and tote along J. Crew's Downtown Hobo.

Wednesday - It's Hump Day, but smile, girlfriend. Tonight, it's Happy Hour and though you've got on a pair of leopard print ballet flats under your slacks, you have the cutest pair of Christian Louboutin leopard print peep-toes in your tote that'll roar when you make a quick change after work. Oh yeah, who has $825?!?! Steve Madden has a similar style for $150.

Thursday - So you scored a date at Happy Hour last night but you have nothing to wear. Show him your wild side with a leopard-print halter dress from ABS or a wrapdress by Diane von Furstenberg. Not ready to reveal so much yet? A classy kimono-style with leopard trim should be suggestive enough.

Friday - If Thursday's date goes well enough, you just might need something sexy for Friday night, like a mesh babydoll nightie. Oh, Thursday was a bust? Then slip into comfy Bedhead pajamas and curl up with your best friend in the same.

Saturday - You're throwing a dinner party! What better way to flash some animal sass with a little girlie class than a leopard print apron with pink trim? Oh, and please pass the hors d'ouevre on those gorgeous trays!
