Chace Crawford graces winter issue of VMAN

Filed under: Style in the News

Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford is very pretty. In fact, the actor is so swoon worthy that he beat out three of his equally beautiful cast mates -- Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen, and Leighton Meester -- to be the first in the attractive bunch to score a major fashion contract. Admittedly, though, Versace denies it replacing Patrick Dempsey with Crawford but we know the truth Donatella!

Keira Knightley talks fashion and movies with Vogue

Filed under: Style in the News

The all-important September issue of Vogue has dropped and the majority of it is ads. But after collecting this particular issue over the past couple of years, we already knew that was going to happen.

No, the real surprise is actually the cover girl, Keira Knightley. First, because the last time she was on the cover of Vogue it was one of the fashion glossy's lowest selling issues of that year. And secondly, Keira had just made an appearance on the cover of the mag not too long ago. Plus, Keira, while we for the most part love her films, has always seemed quite boring to us.

Anyways, Vogue managed to get the actress to do a little interview at her cover shoot with Mario Testino while she was trying on Balenciaga. In this clip, she discusses being a femme fatal and playing different roles in her photographs.

Kate Moss fans and wannabes, rejoice!

The iconic supermodel lands on the cover of Vogue magazine this month. Looking prim and proper, Moss is the face of Vogue's age issue, which also features Chris Everett, Ziyi Zhang, and John McCain's 96-year-old mother Roberta, amongst others.

Gisele covers V magazine

Filed under: Runway Trends, Style in the News

This fall begins the march of the supermodels. While the majority can be seen striking a pose in some of the most coveted ad campaigns, the magazine covers -- where they tend to shine the brightest -- with their mugs on them are slowly starting to trickle out.

And Brazilian babe Gisele Bundchen is making a very strong case with her latest V magazine cover as to why she reigns supreme over all of the other illustrious mannequins. Lensed by Mario Testino, the editorial features Gisele giving her most seductive come hither poses while wearing various ripped denim pieces.

Burberry drops Agyness Deyn

Wow. How quick the mighty have fallen.

It seems as if it were just yesterday that we began ragging on supermodel Agyness Deyn's coveted and contrived grunge style, gasping over her dethronement of Kate Moss on top Tatler's best dressed list, and giggling because of the party that's being thrown in honor of a life-sized mannequin that bares her resemblance.

Natalia Vodianova and Isabeli Fontana for Versace

Can it be? Have curvy bodies replaced the tiny frames currently dominating the runways and fashion editorials? Eh, not exactly. But Donatella Versace has enlisted two supermodel pros for her brand's fall ad campaign that are anything but waif-like child women.

Isabeli Fontana
, who was the face of Versace Crystal Noir parfum in 2004, and Natalia Vodianova will be appearing in Versace's window displays come fall -- replacing the vivacious Gisele Bundchen who is currently fronting the brand's campaign. The beautiful mothers shot the ads with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino on Wednesday.

Kudos to Donatella for embracing women over the age 14 and a size four two seasons in a row now. I know, I know. But we've got to start somewhere.
