Are you ready for New York Fashion Week? I know I am. The "official" fun officially begins February 1st at the Bryant Park Tents with IMG Fashion Senior Vice President, Fern Mallis and the cast of the new NBC series, Lipstick Jungle for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Lipstick Jungle is another Sex and the City type shows about three women in New York City. The author of the book in which the show is based and the executive producer Candace Bushnell will be present as well.

The Bryant Park tents will be home to three venues where the fashion shows will be held: The Promenade, the Salon, and the largest venue being the Tent. Fashion Week will run for eight days with the who's-who of the fashion industry in attendance.

This year's line up is huge (too huge to list) but here are some designers that I am looking forward to seeing: Nautica, Erin Fetherston, Lacoste, Rock & Republic, Max Azria, Diane von Furstenberg, Miss Sixty, Diesel, Zac Posen, Carmen Marc Valvo, Luca Luca, Nanette Lepore, Milly, Michael Kors, Anna Sui, Vera Wang and of course, Betsey Johnson.
