Now here's one to watch. Adorable actress Emma Stone, who is making rounds promoting her new flick, The Rocker, combines simple yet flashy pieces into incredible look after incredible look. Her formula seems to be a streamlined yet eye popping dress, the perfect belt , and killer heels to finish it off.

Here, at TRL, she channels a glamorous rock n' roller in her Mike & Chris shoulderless dress which was complimented by a sparkling, waist cinching belt and Jimmy Choo gladiator heels. With hair so brilliant, who needs accessories anyway?

And just how adorable is this dress?

Mike & Chris is a label that's more well-known for the design duo's leather hoodies and bags, but apparently, they know what to do with 100% cotton. The Marcus Mini Dress is all kinds of chic with its fitted bodice and trendy bubble hem (which is subtle enough that I don't hate it), and a little bit of sweet with a to-the-knee length and soft, rosewood color. You can wear this to work with some "sensible" shoes, then do a quick change into shiny patent leather sandals and take this straight to dinner.

Did I say you were going to get to know Mike & Chris? If you didn't think I meant it, I did. Mike & Chris is known for their unconventional takes on that urban essential, the hoodie, and what they've done with the Ethan is pulled it long and made it into a pullover hoodie dress. It has all casual comfort of a classic hooded sweatshirt like 100% cotton fleece, kangaroo front pocket, and drawstring hood, but the Ethan dress is stylish in its slim fit, and short, cuffed, kimono sleeves. So you can run around town doing your errands all day in the Ethan dress and a pair of leggings, then take it to a casual dinner with some fabulous boots and handbag.

Do you know Mike & Chris? Up until a few weeks ago, when I was flipping through a People magazine in a waiting room, I didn't either, but you're about to get to know them.

Mike Gonzalez and Christine Park-Gonzalez are a husband and wife designing duo from Los Angeles who are re-inventing the hoodie. Yes, the hoodie - that ratty old sweatshirt thing with a hood attached that you throw over your yellowed wife beater tank top when you run out to the market. Mike & Chris' hoodies are made of soft fleece in antiqued colors and always feature "unconventional styling" like oversized buttons and brass hardware. That's all well and good, but the hoodies that are really gaining some attenion are their leather hoodies, like the Jesse (shown). I absolutely adore this hoodie, and most certainly would wear it to a rockin' dinner with the girls. Or to the market.
