REVIVAL: "Let us once again embrace the art of dressing!"

Filed under: Stores We Love, Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Dresses

Zip Transformer Shift with Moody Silk InsetsWe love REVIVAL. Designer Virginia Craddock's attitude about fashion is infectious in the way that laughter is.

From the REVIVAL website:
"Some time between the jeans revolution of the 60's and the day glow craze of the 90's, we lost our lust for true style. This modern era has erased the excitement of elbow length gloves. Forgotten is the arrogance of a pencil skirt, and the vanity of a layered, frothy party dress. REVIVAL reclaims the thrill of fashion and the transforming effect of style."

Holding your handbag for Ranson

ranson mini toteI've got to give some love to this handbag company that I just came across via Adventures in the Stiletto Jungle. Ranson is a handbag maker out of South Korea that makes the cutest, brightest little handbags, many of which feature the company's mascot, a sassy little kitty. The name Ranson comes from a French avante-garde artist of the early 20th century, and in Korean, "ranson" translates to "read cheerfully."

The bag shown is the Mini Cate Tote, which sells for $42 at YesStyle. The bag is made of canvas with faux leather trim, and comes in three colors, but I love the orange! With the black kitty charm hanging from the orange-cat printed bag, this bag is so perfect this week for Halloween. Of course, I certainly wouldn't restrict myself to carrying it just this week.
