Straight from Supermarket comes Mnkr Clothes, an independent maker of "stuff."

Styledash Giveaway: Danica "I Am" perfumes

Filed under: Style in the News, Fragrance, Celebrities with Style, Contests & Giveaways

We recently received some samples of this new perfume line, I am, from Danica Aromatics.

As usual, our first reaction was to love the packaging. So clean! Such pretty colors! Then we sprayed and roll on, and fell in love with the fragrances, too. So much that we think you'll enjoy them, so we're doing a giveaway!

Organic t-shirts from Target

Filed under: Stores We Love, Clothing, Men, Style for a Cause, Green Fashion

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

If we had to pick one store that we couldn't live without it would most likely be Target. Sure, other stores sell fancier things and have more ambiance, but from the minute we buy our customary bag of popcorn and Icee for ONE DOLLAR, we're in and we're hooked. They have everything in there. Seriously, we looked.

Ban T-Shirts with a message

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Men

No, I don't want to ban t-shirts with a message, unless it is something I disagree with. Why would I want to read that? Ban T-Shirts is the name of the company and their shirts have some very strong messages, most of which I wouldn't dream of banning.

The shirts are designed with progressive messages that concern the issues of the day: the environment, democracy, freedom, war and peace (not Tolstoy). Most of the designs are printed on organic cotton American Apparel shirts and none are made in sweatshops, although I can't guarantee that sweat was not present at some time during the process.

The company is proud of its righteous attitude and claims to be deconstructing society, shirt by shirt. They also make no apologies about not providing all sides on the issues. They feel that the right is wrong and only make shirts with messages that they believe in. That's called not selling out. Besides, who the hell wants to wear shirts that are anti-environment, freedom and peace? Don't answer that. Ban it.

Share your views with political slippers

If you're so political that you want to make sure people know where you stand -- even while walking around in your pajamas -- then Stubbs and Wootton have the slippers for you!

Their classic design with velvet black and a black heel and sole as well, can now be embroidered in gold with either the republican or democratic party symbols -- an elephant and a donkey, respectively.

But, being outspoken is going to cost you. These slippers will set you back $395.00. Forget getting them as a Christmas gift, maybe it's better that Grandpa buys these bad boys for himself!

If you're not 95 years old and are looking for a significantly cheaper (and hipper) way to share your views with the world, Urban Outfitters has t-shirts for under $30 that are way more fun than these slippers! Browse the gallery to see if they have anything that fits your political leanings.

My personal favorite says, "Screw the war, let's dance." Because really, wouldn't the world be a better place if we all took the time to stop and smell the roses get down and boogie every once in a while?
