Lisa Rinna admits she used too much Juvederm

Even though we totally fell in love with Lisa Rinna when she was on Dancing With The Stars, we've always categorized her in the same "Muppet Features School of Plastic Surgery" as Donatella Versace and Jessica Simpson.

(Does she live up to the real thing? Click the image to see more photos, and other real life Barbies)

Lots of little girls love Barbie, and wish they could grow up to be like her. But hardly any of them take it to the lengths of Englishwoman Sarah Burge. Of course, most little girls don't have £540,000 to spend on plastic surgery, either.

Breast intentions - Canadians want to sue the government for faulty implants

This is by no means the first time we've discussed the risks of plastic surgery on this site, but this might be the first time we've ever fully appreciated how often these implanted body parts seem to fail once they've been installed. A group of accentuated women in Canada -- 29,500 of them to be exact -- have joined forces in a class action lawsuit against Health Canada (like the FDA) seeking damages for the government's so-called negligence.

It's true, these women apparently feel that the Canadian government is at fault for allowing companies like Dow Corning Corp. to sell these implants without properly testing their durability. After a quick glance at the case, an Ontario appeals court threw the case out -- saying that the ladies should seek their damages from the manufacturers of the faulty silicone, not the Canadian health care system. In our opinion, that makes good sense -- unless Canada's universal health care program paid for the 29,500 boob jobs. If that's the case, Canada is way cooler than we previously thought.

Shannen Doherty refuses plastic surgery

(Click Shannen's photo to see our Top 10 Celeb Plastic Surgery Disasters!)

Shannen Doherty might not be what most of us would consider a role model, but it sounds like her attitude toward self-esteem might be something other actresses could aspire to. The 37-year-old 90210 actress has said that she'll never change her looks through plastic surgery.

"These are my looks, whether you like them or not," said Doherty. "They work for me. I have a gap in the middle of my teeth. You know how many people wanted to cover that gap?"

Doctors recommend cosmetic surgery for Hillary's political future

Filed under: Cosmetics, Get the Look

Sure, having people drop hints that you should get some cosmetic work done is offensive -- but having them write an article about it, now that's just straight-up, top-notch journalism. That's why we couldn't pass up this juicy report in which Orange County's finest surgeons give Hillary Clinton some notes on what to do with her face.

That's right, these MDs say they can tell that she's already had some work done -- but she didn't get much bang for her buck. These prominent face fixers each say they could help Hillary look her best with a couple tweaks here and there. For example, Dr. Vince Afsahi recommends a dermafiller and a little botox action:
"Fillers such as Juvederm for the laugh lines, lip lines, and cheek augmentation can be used. Botox is wonderful for the crow's feet, frown lines, and glabella [between the eyebrows]."

Others, like Dr. Payman Simoni say that surgery is the only way to fix signs of aging in front of today's high tech cameras. Honestly, we think that talking about what Hillary should do to her face is just a little too creepy. What do you think?

Eye-lifts for men - A booming business

With all of the beauty products and cosmetics being marketed to men, it's really no surprise that more and more men are electing to go under the knife. However, one procedure in particular is catching on with lightening speed -- manbag (or eye-lift) surgery has more than quadrupled over the last two years in one chain of clinics, with similar increases seen across the board.

Man gets dangerous butt implants

Filed under: Style in the News, Videos

Following this week's theme of men getting in touch with their feminine side -- mantyhose, guyliner, etc. -- we found this video today highlighting how more men are going under the knife to enhance their looks. We know Corey Feldman got peer pressured into getting liposuction, but apparently lots of other guys are having body issues as well. And, in true macho fashion, they say they're not worried about the serious risks involved in the procedure.

Heidi Klum would rather be a dinosaur than have plastic surgery

Heidi Klum is aging! Well, at least she says she is, though we're not completely convinced. However, even though she can tell the difference between how she looked several years ago and how she looks now, she doesn't think she'll resort to getting plastic surgery.

Corey Feldman gets peer pressured into liposuction

Filed under: Cosmetics, Celebrities with Style

(Click the image to see our 10 Worst Plastic Surgery Disasters)

Most dudes who elect to have cosmetic procedures try to keep them a little bit on the DL -- because it's not exactly macho to talk about getting a tummy-tuck. Corey Feldman, on the other hand, totally doesn't mind revealing that he had a couple of rough spots ironed out in preparation for his new show The Two Coreys.

In fact, it seems that Feldman decided to get the surgery based on the peer pressure from his wife's new hot body. According to an insider:

"Corey flipped when he saw the results of Susie's boob job. She's always been beautiful, but her new, more voluptuous appearance both pleased and intimidated him."

Wait, it gets better. Next, Corey's spokesperson decides to set the record straight, confirming what the insider had to say:

"Corey had a couple little trouble spots that he needed taking care of - so he did. And he feels a lot better now because of it."

Weird. So Corey's comfortable with admitting the fact that he got a tummy-tuck or breast reduction or whatever -- he's just not comfortable with wearing a couple extra pounds. Hmm. Does that seem messed-up to anyone else?

Plastic surgery: is it worth the risk?

Filed under: Skin Care, Celebrities with Style

This week, a study was released that says 17% of Americans will get some kind of cosmetic surgery in 2015. That means almost 1 out of every 5 people in the nation will go under the knife that year in order to "fix" some kind of perceived flaw -- and that number includes children. Of course, a vast majority of these people will be adults, and some will have a lot of work done. Still, that's a lot of people putting their health at risk to do an elective surgery.

Part of the reason that people are flocking to surgery is that it's perceived as totally safe. Plus, the number and types of procedures are always growing. Right now, one of the hottest procedures is breast reduction surgery for men. Sure, everybody has times that they wish they could make a change in their appearance, but there are definitely risks involved with all surgeries.

Do you think it's worth it? Have any of you guys ever had a plastic surgery mishap or close call?

Oprah gets cast in a flattering light, literally

Filed under: Cosmetics, Celebrities with Style

Over the years, there's no doubt that Oprah Winfrey's look has changed dramatically -- you can check her out right now at StyleList's Look of the Day. Her hair, her weight, her wardrobe -- they've all been switched up on a yearly basis. But, has she gone under the knife to make more drastic changes?

Many experts say no -- as a matter of fact, although the look of her face has changed somewhat throughout the years (most notably, her schnoz), it's more a matter of makeup and lighting than surgical intervention. Because, let's be real, folks -- how many of our faces don't look considerably different now than they did in the '80s?

Ashlee Simpson gets photoshopped in real life

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

Back in December, we noticed that the photo editor for Complete Woman was smoking crack when he Photoshopped Ashlee Simpson beyond all recognition. At the time, it seemed like a inconsequential flap. Now, it seems that maybe Ashlee fell in love with her digitally remastered image and decide to see if her doctor could maybe photoshop her real body a little.

In latest issue of Us magazine, Simpson explains why she decided to go ahead with a major "makeover" -- read reconstructive surgery. Apparently, she was never unhappy with her body -- she just kinda wanted a new one. "I used to look at a beautiful girl on the cover of a magazine and think I could never be that," she claims.

Hold up, hasn't she been on a ton of covers already, like the Photoshopped one? I don't think the Complete Woman ordeal put the idea in her head or anything, but I think it pushed her over the edge. From the article:

"[Plastic surgery] is something that everybody should think about for a really long time. Once you know it's something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own."

It's good to know that she takes her plastic surgery seriously. Doc, while you're in there, could you maybe give her some vocal talent?
