Marisa Tomei has been a busy woman as of late, hitting red carpet after red carpet, attending a plethora of premieres. And we get it -- it's got to be hard finding a new dress for every event. But that's no excuse for pulling Grandma's house dress from 1972.

Back in the days of "Reality Bites," Winona Ryder had cornered the market on blending sexy and cute, quirky and cool. But, times have changed, and so have styles ... for most of us. Winona, however, seems to be having a little more trouble adapting.

We can't quite bring ourselves to StyleFoul our beloved Mitzi Gaynor. In fact, she was her usual stunning and perky self at the premiere of 'Mitzi Gaynor: Razzle Dazzle! The Special Years'. Eesh, but her friends! Talk about a rogues gallery!

Liane Balaban's dress at the Hollywood premiere of 'Last Chance Harvey' has us going back and forth like Anne Heche's sexual preference. On the one hand, there's something about it that really appeals to us -- it's so girly, and looks like it would be fun to spin around in.

Melanie Bernier is a gorgeous, young French actress who we've never heard of before, but she made quite an impression at the Quantum of Solace Paris premiere. We cut the French some slack -- they can pull off some edgier, funkier looks than most of us can, but this? Uhhh, no.

Not only is Amy Adams classically beautiful, but she's also a really smart dresser. She does a brilliant job of mixing traditional with modern, and it always comes out looking gorgeous, and her look at the L.A. premiere of Doubt was no exception.

She might not be the most well-known name in Hollywood, but if Amanda Righetti keeps looking like this on the red carpet, she's going to start showing up on some best-dressed lists before you know it. We love the way she took a bit of a risk with the color and then really committed to accenting it with beautiful gold accessories -- it's simple, but it's smart. We would like to have lunch with Elizabeth Banks. We imagine she's really fun and quirky and full of hilarious stories about how Zach Braff tries to be a player and just falls sooo short. And, we've been really impressed with her red carpet looks lately. In case you didn't notice, girlfriend has been busy with a bunch of films, all of which seem to be premiering now.

Oh, it hurts us to do this. It really does. We love Emma Thompson -- she's on our list of people we'd have lunch with if we could have lunch with anyone in the world. She's talented and funny and beautiful. And, unfortunately, at the UK premiere of Brideshead Revisted, she was badly dressed in a shapeless, shiny coat.

Ashley Tisdale always plays the well-to-do (and well-dressed) girl, so we're really confused as to why she would choose to wear this atrocity at the German premiere of High School Musical 3. We have a few possible reasons in mind, though:

Not every Hollywood hottie is has the chutzpah to brave the bandage dress. It is quite unforgiving, to be sure. But, on the right woman, on the right occasion ... well, there's a reason this trend is so big right now, because it can look absolutely phenomenal.

Case in point -- Rachel Weisz at the premiere of The Brothers Bloom. Seriously, could she look any sexier? We don't know who she sold her soul to, or what unicorn's blood she had to drink in order to look this good, but we're next in line.

Anna Faris could have easily gone with a big hair and big boobs look for the premiere of her new movie, House Bunny. After all, that's pretty much how the movie is being marketed, and she's the star Bunny. However, she went another route, and we'd like to recognize how this can work for you.

Sometimes events require us to go almost as a character -- if it's a sports banquet, you're going as an athlete, and if it's a work function, you're going as an administrator, etc. However, Anna shows us that some of these occasions are the perfect time to shake things up a little. If people always see you in a business suit, try a fun dress with some funky jewelry (if appropriate, of course). If everyone knows you as the star of the volleyball team, wear something really feminine and girly. Fashion is meant to be fun, after all!

A number of Hollywood's finest were joined by countless lesser-known beautiful people at the Venice Film Festival's presentation of Matt Tyrnauer's documentary, Valentino: The Last Emperor. It's only fitting that the glamorous would go the extra mile for a legend such as Valentino Garavani, and for the most part, we were not disappointed.

Elizabeth Hurley, Claire Danes, Charlize Theron, and many others showed up in style to hear Valentino's personal take on the film, such as the fact that his favorite parts of the film were, "... when I scream at Giancarlo (Giammetti)."
