If you caught our giveaway over the summer, you already know how much we love British handbag designer Emma Gordon. But do you know how much we love her new fall/winter collection of darling handbags? (Here's a hint: we really really REALLY love it.) We recently caught up with Emma to find out more about how she got started as a designer and where she gets her inspiration.

Lately the fashion world has been abuzz with spottings of some insanely cool bag seen on the likes of Mary Kate Olsen and Vanessa Traina. This new anti-it-bag has not even been released yet but Proenza Schouler's marketing technique is genius.

When it comes to designer purses, people who love them tend to fall into two categories -- those who like the name or label advertised all over the bag, and those who don't. The new Chanel Unlimited line is definitely for those who belong in the first group.

Women carry over-sized purses for a few reasons. First of all, they're stylish, but coming in a close second is the usefulness -- we can fit everything we need in there! But now, there's a new reason to carry a big, giant purse. It just might save your life.

Whenever we're looking for a new handbag, we tend to get distracted by the ones with bright colors, unusual textures, and funky patterns -- they're just so fun to look at! But, the thing is, every girl needs a beautiful bag in a neutral hue for those days when her dress (or coat, or hat) really need to take center stage.

We were pleasantly surprised to find an uber interesting and passionate woman who is not only a handbag designer but a former ballet dancer, costumer, choreographer and world traveler. Her rich background weaves itself, literally, into her amazing bags.

In case we haven't beaten you over the head with it enough yet, purple is huge this season. But, we understand that not everybody is comfortable wearing a purple sweater or dress -- we love it, but not everyone feels the same way. And so, we're really excited to see so many funky purple accessories available because it'll allow those people to be involved in the trend without wearing an outfit they're less than thrilled with.

We love when a fashion is fun and functional, which is why we have a real soft spot for Harveys' Seatbelt Bags. You might have heard of them before, but what you might not know is how fun and fancy they've gotten.
